🛑 Cancellation Policy 🛑

Please note - effective Monday 17th November 2025

Due to the rise in appointments that haven’t been attended:

All appointments that are cancelled within 24hours, are subject to a $50 cancellation fee that must be paid before the next subsequent visit.

Our doctors, physiotherapy and nursing time is precious - if you’re unable to attend an appointment, please phone our lovely receptionists on 07 49924848 to reschedule or cancel.

This applies to PainFX Physiotherapy & ACE Medical appointments.

Dr Hussain

Dr Hussain is taking some leave this year and will be unavailable from the 01st - 26th October.
She will also be finishing for the year on the 17th November 2025, recommencing in the New Year from Tuesday 27th January 2026.

In her absence, we have appointments available with various other practitioners.

Due to a family emergency, Dr Singh will be unavailable from Wednesday 01st October - Sunday 12th October 2025.
He will be recommencing in the practice as at Monday 13th October 2025.

Exciting things are happening at ACE Medical next week!

Dr Singh will be trialling a new set of extended closing hours.
For the week of 08th - 14th September 2025, he will be opened from 2:00pm - 10:00pm!
Dr Hussain will start the clinic at her normal time of 8:30am.

We hope to receive some feedback from our community around these extended times - you are able to book online or call the clinic to book your appointment!

Health Assessments:

Some of you may have been receiving calls regarding booking for Health Assessments - but WHAT is a Health Assessment!?!

Typically for ages:
45-49 year old Health Assessment
75year + Health Assessment
Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander

It is a good idea to visit a doctor regularly, even if you feel healthy.

The purpose of these visits is to:
🍃 Check for current or emerging medical problems
🍃 Assess your risk of future medical issues
🍃 Prompt you to maintain a healthy lifestyle
🍃 Update vaccinations.

Health checks are usually incorporated into routine medical care. Your doctor will often perform these checks when you are visiting for another condition. Your doctor will then tell you how often you need to have a health check.

Having a health check is also a time to examine your lifestyle to see what improvements can be made. This may be something you regularly do yourself or discuss with a healthcare professional.
