Help please our Facebook friends:
I'm running an AI workshop tomorrow morning for disabled people, families and support workers.
It's all about how ai can be used to take the grunt out of so much of the work we all do - and how to stay safe while doing it!
We don't have many signups, and I think that's a failure of my marketing, because the workshop is really really good and the reviews of it are genuinely fantastic.
My survey asked what people liked about the last session, and they said (word for word):
- It gave me more confidence in dealing with the NDIA. I can see many use cases for AI assisting people with a disability.
- Confidence to explore ChatGTP & pass on knowledge to participants
- The opportunity to save time and actually get done some of the things that need to be done
- I can use ChatGPT to develop social stories and other useful documents quickly and easily. This learning support gave me the confidence to go for it. Thank you!
- Clear explanation and great examples shown
- Numerous explanations of how to use the intelligence
- Different scenarios explained we’ll & explored in many different ways to obtain the answer you want
- Live examples were excellent.
- You gave me enough information and inspiration to try ChatGPT for myself and I love it! It's already reduced some building stress about a particular issue.
Can you spread the word, or even join yourself for tomorrow morning's session? Thank you friends.

There’s a big difference between caring for someone and truly supporting their independence.

💡 In our latest episode, Phil Hayes-Brown reminds us that being too sympathetic or doing everything for someone can actually hold them back. Support means stepping back when it’s hard, and believing they can do more than we often expect. 💬

Have you ever walked into a room and instantly felt like you had to shrink yourself just to belong?

Breanna Jenkins reminds us that feeling safe is what unlocks our ability to show up authentically, especially for neurodivergent young people who are so often misunderstood.

This isn’t just about comfort. It’s about dignity, freedom, and identity. When we create environments where kids feel safe, they stop masking and start thriving.

🌿 That’s the power of neuroaffirming care and the heart of this week’s episode.

If you’ve ever worn a smile while falling apart inside, Bruce’s story is for you.

He spent decades achieving on the outside and hurting on the inside, thinking no one could understand. But reaching his lowest point led him somewhere he never expected: healing, connection, and a mission to speak up so others don’t have to suffer in silence.

If you’re struggling, know this: you are not weak. You are not alone. And you are not finished.

“If I can come back from where I was, anybody can.” - Bruce Simpson
