Did you know that every time a child figures out how to balance a tower, navigate an obstacle course, or find a new way to use a toy, they are acting like a mini-inventor? 🧠✨

We believe therapy is the perfect lab for innovation. When kids engage in play, they aren't just having fun, they are building the critical problem-solving skills they need to navigate the world.

We see it in our 🧱 Building Blockstars' group, where we challenge kids to plan, collaborate, and engineer their own solutions. Or in our Sensory-Motor Challenges where we we help kids invent new ways to move and regulate on the go. We love watching those “what if?” moments turn into “look what I did!” ones. 💛

Some children and adults find that speaking isn’t always the easiest way to share what they’re thinking, feeling, or needing in the moment. When spoken communication feels challenging, it may contribute to frustration, reduced connection, or withdrawal for some individuals.

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) refers to a range of communication options, including devices, signing, and visual supports, which can support people to express themselves in different ways. 🖐️📱

Our speech pathologists work alongside individuals and families to explore AAC options and develop communication approaches that are appropriate to their needs, goals, and circumstances. 🧡

If you’re considering speech pathology support for yourself or someone you care about, we're here to help!

What A Year! ✨

In 2025, we expanded our care across all ages, welcoming new aged care services and attending the Seniors Expo. We launched community music programs like Living Well with Music, Music & Me and Junior Jammers... 🎶

We teamed up with Social Mums Club for community events such as Fam Family Connect and Family Fun Days. Supported The Pyjama Foundation’s National Pyjama Day and celebrated AMTA’s 50th...

Our team also grew with new clinicians joining us - a reflection of the people, partnerships and purpose that make our work so meaningful. 💛

Here’s to more voices, more stories and more fun in 2026! 💬

We may find our routines shifting as the year winds down and music can be a steady rhythm to help children and adults alike express, interpret, and process emotions that accompany change. 🎶

A registered Music Therapist may use music to support their clients emotional regulation and self-expression while navigating endings and new beginnings.

At Look Who’s Talking, our clinicians use evidence-informed approaches to help every individual feel heard and supported through melody, rhythm and meaningful connection. 🎵
