Despite Obi sitting in my suitcase and Percy not wanting to look at me, it was very exciting to head for the first time in 24 yrs to visit family in New Zealand!

Christmas is a funny time of year - making the most of being with who you are with whilst perhaps missing those unable to be there. Always thinking about those now only held in the heart.

We have had a lovely few days with another week or so to go. New Zealand is absolutely stunning - I am loving seeing where my sister and my cousin and their families live and their day to day lives! My sister’s daily walk is in a forest beautiful beyond words. Feeling very lucky as I head off to bed after a fabulous day filled with laughter, food and fun. Oh did I say food 😬😂🙈 xox

The silent, unseen forces around us. Taken for granted - the wind beneath wings, water under the waves, the breath we take. Awe and wonder. Nature is a miracle, we are miracles.

The shape of the wing resembling the wave blew me away when I looked back and noticed it this morning, months after capturing the photo.

I wonder how often we forget to be truly present and curious . A reminder to me for sure! Have a fabulous day and see the magic ✨✨✨

When I mentioned I was heading to a silence retreat, most people looked at me with intrigue (and maybe disbelief 😬😂)— I am known to chat, after all!
But more and more, I am craving opportunities to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with peace. My phone for one has been taking too much of my attention and energy, and it felt time to put it down!

A silence retreat might sound like pure purgatory (though it is a kind of purification). No phone. No conversations (apart from our teacher guiding meditation, breathwork + gentle morning movement). Just space to sit with whatever arose.

The retreat stretched from Thursday to Sunday, with silence from Friday morning until Sunday lunch.

At times there was restlessness, emotions and mental chatter. But slowly, stillness arrived… and with it:
✨ Deep rest for my nervous system
✨ Clarity and perspective
✨ Space for emotions to move naturally
✨ Reconnection with my body + nature

The weather was incredible, I went for walks when time permitted. Saturday was lit by a full moon (also the 8/8 Lionsgate portal ✨🦁), and I stumbled across a bonfire. I sat there mesmerised — listening to the crackle of the fire, the cattle mooing, and the quiet rhythms of the earth.
It reminded me how deeply nourishing it is to unplug, slow down and listen inwardly.

I’ve been back for a week now and am so aware I have to consciously choose peace and can see my triggers and patterns but feel soooo much better. I’m booking again in February and will make it biannually — because for me, silence is gold and really does speak volumes. 🌙🔥🌿

Have you ever been on a silence retreat — or could you imagine giving it a try? I’d love to hear!!

And if you’d like a retreat but not a silence one (😂🥳 ) - come to our Rest, Restore and Reset Retreat in Bali in October!! (btw only 3 or 4 spaces left, link in bio) xox

Winnie was sooooo relaxed after a joint fur baby and mum cranio session (she lay on her human mum ) Both parties had lots of releases and Winnie had an extra long nap when home - just like we humans sometimes need post session.

It’s a wrap, well almost!
From Verona (home of Romeo and Juliet) to Bolzano to Villnoss via Alpe de Siusi (cable car from Ortisei to the most spectacular views), onwards to Cortina as they prepare for the 2026 winter Olympics then onto Venice - I have wanted to get there since childhood and was not disappointed! I think we were lucky with the crowds, it was clean and perfect temperature and then a final 24 hrs in Milan and a goodbye to my trusty travel mate (more to come on that!) who I will miss so much as he returns to London and me to Melbourne - 😭
Departing Dubai now, hoping for some 😴….. ciao and grazie for now, it’s been amazing!!! ✨✨✨✨

Thirty years ago to the day I arrived in London for a 6 month secondment with work, but actually left 8 years later with my husband and two sons.

Last week I spent 4 fabulous nights in London seeing my 26 y/o who moved over 9 months ago, lifelong friends we made back through work and pre-school and family that have kept very closely connected over 5 generations.

It was also a case of being at the right place at the right time - front row for the Guards at Buckingham Palace, the Mall looking a treat for VE Day, even meeting Oleksander Usyk at The Cafe Royal - a favourite place Paul used to manage.

I was taken to Kew Gardens for a glorious display of blue bells and blossoms, Richmond Park for the rhododendron and Azaleas (I have to say this was the most amazing floral display I have EVER seen, to the point the draw of cherry blossoms in Japan has lessened) and topped off with seeing the Deer.

Pics including the reunion for me and Charlie after 9 months, pictured with Max who has been a great mate since birth

Oleksander Usyk (having no idea who he was but found out - he was sooo lovely and for the record he is a world class boxer 🫣)
Dinner out with 4th and 5th cousins!
Dinner out with friends by chance on their 32nd anniversary (Mark on the right was my boss from all those years ago)
A day in the country at a friend’s I met through Charlies pre-school and subsequently her sister.
Last but not least Alice who was at pre-school with Charlie.

I had SUCH a lovely time, good friendships survive both distance and times! I felt very lucky every day I was there and am now having a wonderful time in Europe with Charlie 🙏🇬🇧

we didn’t get a photo! But I loved seeing you xox
