🔹Meet the newest member of our team; Dr. Tara Jasper!🔹
Originally from regional Victoria, Tara’s lifelong passion for movement and sport naturally evolved into a passionate career into osteopathy. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and a Master of Health Science (Osteopathy) from Victoria University.
Tara is dedicated to helping individuals become the best version of themselves by identifying the root cause of their concerns, as well as working collaboratively to achieve long lasting results. Her compassionate, patient-centred approach focuses not just on recovery, but on long-term wellbeing and preventative care.
Whilst sport has played a significant role in Tara’s life, she also understands the challenges of being sidelined due to injury. This personal experience has driven her strong interest in rehabilitation and sports-related injuries. During her studies, Tara had the opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of clinical settings from VFL programs to local community and primary healthcare settings. These experiences have shaped her holistic approach within her consultations.
She utilises a broad set of hands-on techniques, including soft tissue therapy, joint articulation, rehabilitation planning, and dry needling.
Special interests:
⭐ Sporting injuries and Rehabilitation
⭐ Musculoskeletal conditions
⭐ Neck pain and headaches
⭐ Women's Health
⭐ Preventative health advice and education
Outside the clinic, Tara enjoys staying active in her local sporting community—whether it’s playing or watching AFL football, netball, or having a swing on the golf course. She also loves spending time with her energetic one-year-old Border Collie, Bolt, and can often be found experimenting in the kitchen, trying out new recipes and refining her cooking skills. 🐶👩🍳🏉
