Blackbutt Health Haven; Remedial Massage & Acupressure Certified remedial massage therapist. Service include acupuncture, dry needling, deep tissue massage, accupressure, cupping and reflexology.

My application of massage consist of a mixture of western and eastern style of remedial techniques. Western remedial massage treatmentconsists of checking the body's structural alignment and differentiate cause of pain, then followed by a process of treating muscles to aid structural alignment in order to ease pain. Techniques include trigger point, myofacial release, muscle energy technique, stretching and mobilisation. With eastern style of treatment (also known as traditional chinese medicine) consists of understanding patients’ health holistically, pinpointing the source of the manifested pain due to imbalance of organ/muscle function. TCM focuses on balance and maintaining the flow of qi, an energy force which keeps things alive. Using techniques such as cupping, moxibustion, and acupressure are used to achieve better qi circulation.

The tongue serves as a mirror reflecting the state of one's internal organs.

A male client in his 50s presented with constant vomiting (occurring three times nightly), diarrhea, abdominal bloating, and shortness of breath. He also has diabetes and experiences high stress levels from his work as a teacher.

After the eighth treatment, both his diarrhea and vomiting had ceased. Observation of his tongue showed its color returning to a normal, healthy hue.

The underlying pattern was determined to be from overthinking and chronic stress, which depleted his kidney yin and essence and weakened his spleen and stomach function. Furthermore, his lack of sleep caused his liver qi to rise. This collective imbalance was the root cause of his persistent vomiting.

Ruby - courage, kings go into battle
Emerald - memory, protects future
Sapphire- Pharaohs eyes, connection with healing, antidote to poison, third eye
Unblock arteries and speed up recovery rate
Topaz - attract abundance, enhance communication and creativity
