Practice Nurse

Blackbutt Medical centre is looking for enthusiastic Practice Nurse’s to join our dynamic team. The position available is:
1 x casual, 15-24hrs per week, Registered/Enrolled Nurse
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team of friendly and hardworking individuals, delivering great patient service. This is a fast-paced role within the treatment room of a busy medical practice and would suit an applicant able to manage multiple tasks with confidence.
Blackbutt Medical Centre has been operating as a well-established, recognised, and respected general practice for approx. 10-15yrs, and we pride ourselves on best practice and quality patient care.
Essential/Desirable criteria:
• Current AHPRA registration
• Current CPR certificate or willingness to obtain
• Familiarisation with Cold Chain Management and Sterilisation
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work both independently with initiative; and as part of a team
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Be well presented, enthusiastic and have a positive attitude
• Maintain confidentiality
• Strong customer service focus
• Ability to build rapport with patients and doctors
• Effective team working skills with the ability to self-direct
Duties will include:
Clinical Administration
o Conducting Recalls/reminders
o Ordering/maintain Treatment room supplies
Consumables/immunisations/doctors bag supplies
• Assisting GPs in preparing GPCCMP care plans
• Health Assessments
• Adult & Childhood Immunisation
• Assisting the GPs with minor procedures
• General nursing duties
• Attending clinical and staff meetings
