Back to the ocean's side, tuning in to its rhythm and meeting the sorrow that lives in transition.

Back from my motherland,
Celebrating summer and family , where parting is increasingly painful.

Back to a finished little restorative studio, the Banksia Nest, Labor of love and grounding of a vision.

Let it become a sanctuary for your soul.
May any turmoil be moved and breathed with, until its hold soften.
To then reset in rest and recharge.

In deep gratitude always for your trust, the mat and the massage table.
My inner turmoil vanishes when stepping into being of service.

I could make a list, an enumeration of words and statements.
But I am not going to.
I want to talk about the incredible peace and sorrow that comes along with being in a state of gratitude.
Being touched, deeply, by beauty and pain, by people and actions.

And how difficult it might be to shift from a state of stress and overwhelm to experience gratitude, even if we know what there is to be grateful for.

Sometimes it takes a step aside. creating space to see and feel with a new perspective. Like sun rays shining light on the mundane and all that we take for granted, for it to take its place in our heart and be bathed in gratitude.

May we feel and open our heart to the simple delights that surrend us.

And (wink, wink) I truly believe that massage and yoga are one of those steps aside.

With gratitude for you, I wish you a delightful day.
