Welcome Mr Edmond Tang - Physiotherapist in Blacktown

We’re pleased to welcome Mr Edmond Tang, Physiotherapist, now providing services from Kildare Road Medical Centre.

Mr Tang has over 10 years of experience working in medical centre settings and supports patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including:

• Back and neck pain
• Sports and soft tissue injuries
• Workplace injuries (Workers Compensation)
• Motor accident injuries (CTP)
• Rehabilitation and return-to-function programs

He takes a practical, patient-focused approach using manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, and tailored exercise programs to support recovery.

Flu season is here and now is the time to get your 2026 flu vaccination.

Annual flu vaccination is recommended for everyone aged 6 months and over, and is especially important for young children, older adults, pregnant women, and people with chronic health conditions.

Getting vaccinated from April onwards helps ensure you’re protected during peak flu season.

Happy Chinese New Year Blacktown!

The team at Kildare Road Medical Centre came together to welcome Lunar New Year and acknowledge the dedication of the people who support our patients every single day.

Our reception and nursing teams are the heart of our practice - managing busy schedules, coordinating care, assisting our doctors, and ensuring every patient interaction is handled with professionalism and compassion. Much of this work happens quietly behind the scenes, but it makes an enormous difference to our community.

A big thank you to Leanne Topolski the Area Manager at KRMC as well. Leanne does a great job managing all aspects of KRMC and is a big part of our ability to co-ordinate high quality bulk billed care with the consulting doctors at KRMC.

As we step into the Year of the Fire Horse, we look forward to another year of energy, resilience and teamwork - continuing to provide high-quality care to our Blacktown community. 🧧

NSW Health has reported an increase in measles cases in Sydney.

Measles is a highly contagious viral illness that spreads through the air when an infected person coughs or sneezes. Symptoms can include fever, cough or runny nose, sore or red eyes, and a spreading rash.

If you are unsure about your measles (MMR) vaccination status, consider speaking with your GP for advice.

If you or your child are experiencing symptoms that could be measles, please call the medical centre before attending so appropriate arrangements can be made.
