UPDATE IN CHURCH SERVICE TIMES.

The Funeral Service for Teresa Rose Kirby will be held on Friday the 26.09.2025 at the Anglican Parish Church Lake Cargelligo from 2pm to 3pm then she will be laid to rest at Murray Bridge Cemetery at 3.30pm.

Dearest Whānau

Warren (Wally) Pihama passed away peacefully on 15th of July 2024 surrounded by whānau.

Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th July he will lie in state at the whare (home) of his dearest friends Thomas Rona and Leonce Robson at 19 Suva Crescent, Greenacre, NSW 2190. All welcome to visit at any time to say your farewells.

There will be a service each night at 6.30pm to celebrate his life.

Wally will be taken to Rookwood Cemetery South Chapel for his service on Thursday 18th July. Please arrive by 11am. Live stream will start at 11.30am (see registration link below).

Thereafter Wally will be prepared for his final journey back to Aotearoa on Friday 19th July.

Wally’s tangi will be held at Owae Marae, Waitara from Saturday 20th July (time tbc). 16 North Street, Waitara, Taranaki 4320. Manuhiri welcome to stay, Nau mai,haere mai.

Event: Matariki Celebrations Date: Saturday 25th June 2022 Venue: Nurragingy Reserve Doonside
Time: 6:00am-6:30am

It is always an honour to be given the opportunity to support families through one of the most difficult times in their lives when they lose a loved one.

We hold close to those precious memories that allow us to stayed connected to our loved one and often we continue to find ways to celebrate their life.

Matariki holds great importance for the Māori People. From the four winds they come together to welcome in the New Year and pay homage to loved ones passed.

This is a special invitation to All Peoples, from All Nationalities, from All Religions, from All Orientations who have lost a loved one in the past year to bring their kawe mate (memory) to the Matariki Celebrations.

Family/Friends will need to email our hosts for the day the Australian Maori Wardens at au@maoriwardensaustralia.com.au to register the details of your loved one.

You will also be required to bring along a framed photo of your loved one on the day. Upon registration you will be provided with more details about the process.

The Whanau of Kara Jade Te Awhitu have asked that she travel from 10 Jane Street Blacktown to be laid at 2 Kenneth Slessor Drive Glenmore Park 2745 on Friday 17th for a 7pm Karakia Service taken by Archdeacon Malcom Karipa

She will lay there till Monday afternoon before being uplifted at 1pm and departing at 1.15pm to travel to Pinegrove Cemetery where we will have her final service at 2pm in the North Chapel. Those who will be waiting at the Crematorium on Monday for her arrival please QR code and scan in please.

Ronnie will travel from 10 Jane Street Blacktown on Sunday 12th December 3pm to the home of his son Justin 38 Glenrowan Drive Harrington Park arriving at 4pm where he will lay in state till Thursday 16th December.He will be uplifted at 8.30am and then travel to The Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints 74 Walter Street Mortdale arriving at 9.30am where he will be viewed until 10.50am then his lid will be put on to begin the 11am service.
