Leura Retreat | 30.01 – 01.02.26
The Leura retreat came to a close after two deeply immersive days of focused learning and practice.
This was not a passive retreat.
It was an intensive exploration of prāṇāyāma, mudrā, and meditation, taught and practiced step by step, with attention to detail, safety, and understanding.
Over the two days, we worked closely with:
• classical and therapeutic prāṇāyāma techniques
• subtle mudrās and their effect on prāṇa and the mind
• the relationship between breath, attention, dhāraṇā, and dhyāna
• practices to refine awareness, stability, and inner clarity
The Ojas Reset Kriya formed an important part of this learning — not as a concept, but as a lived process of restoring vitality and nervous system balance.
Sessions were long, quiet, and demanding in the best way.
Less information. More direct experience.
More time on the mat. More time with the breath.
The mountain setting of Leura and the gentle weather supported this inward focus beautifully, creating the right conditions for sustained practice and reflection.
We were deeply supported by nourishing vegetarian meals, prepared with care by the DY volunteers — simple food, cooked with heart, that allowed the body and mind to stay light and receptive.
Alongside prāṇāyāma and meditation, T’ai Chi sessions helped integrate breath, movement, and awareness, allowing the practices to settle naturally. We also had an informative lecture on bowel cancer, which added an important health-awareness layer to the retreat and reminded us that practice and wellbeing go hand in hand.
Gratitude to everyone who committed fully to the process, showed discipline, and stayed open to learning — and to the team that held the space with such steadiness.
This retreat reminded us that real transformation comes from careful practice, not shortcuts. 🙏
