Heartfelt Thanks from Dhamma Yoga πŸ™

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to YT Amnda Thomas, Kylie Humt and Uma J. for your time, effort, and generosity in sharing your skills and expertise with us.

Your presence has truly blessed DY, especially during the absence of Dr. Amit Sharma.

You’ve been an incredible support to our little non-profit organisation β€” helping us continue our mission with grace and dedication. Your assistance is deeply appreciated.

At Dhamma Yoga, we strive to keep our practice consistent β€” rain or shine, public holiday or not β€” and it’s through the commitment of people like you that our community continues to grow and thrive.

Thank you once again for your beautiful energy, service, and kindness.

With gratitude,
Dhamma Yoga Family

🌿 Dhanteras β€” The Light of Health and Prosperity

At Dhamma Yoga, we celebrate Dhanteras not merely as a festival of wealth, but as a remembrance of the divine origin of Ayurveda β€” the eternal science of life.

According to ancient lore, during the Samudra Manthan β€” the churning of the cosmic ocean β€” various treasures and celestial beings emerged from its depths. On the thirteenth lunar day (Trayodashi), the divine physician Lord Dhanvantari appeared, radiating golden light, holding in His hands the sacred pot of Amrita, the nectar of immortality.

Dhanvantari embodies the healing power of consciousness β€” the union of wisdom, nature, and compassion. In Him, Ayurveda finds its eternal source. On Dhanteras, lamps are lit not only to invite material prosperity but also to honor health, balance, and inner radiance β€” the true wealth of human life.

At Dhamma Yoga, we invoke this spirit through Ayurvedic living, mindful movement, and yogic simplicity, remembering that true prosperity arises when the body, mind, and spirit dwell in harmony.

Thank you everyone who has shown up today and participated in prayers and lighting up of candle event at the Glenwood park to commemorate the memories of lost souls in the Air India crash on 12 June 2025.

It truly symbolises the unity of human spirit striving to achieve peace for everyone. Our hearts goes out to the people who lost their loved ones in this unfortunate incident and we hope that they will find some comforts in their heart by knowing that they are not alone in their grief and suffering.

May their soul rest in peace and may their families get the strength to heal and recover from their suffering πŸ™
