👁️ Today is World Sight Day – a global reminder to prioritise eye health and advocate for accessible, affordable, and available eye care for all.

For nearly 30 years, MetWest Eye Centre has supported communities across Blacktown, Parramatta, Castle Hill, and Sydney’s greater western suburbs with ophthalmic consulting and surgical services.

Our purpose-built facility provides diagnostic and treatment services for a range of conditions – including cataracts, glaucoma, retinal conditions, and macular degeneration.

As the vaccination levels in Blacktown and Sydney have improved, we have updated our centre protocols.

From Monday 18th October:
All patients and visitors to the centre are required to be fully vaccinated to Covid-19 or undergo Covid testing within 3 days prior to the appointment.

Patients attending for day surgery will still be required to undergo Covid testing within 3 days prior to surgery.

Face-masks are still required at the centre, unless you have a medical exemption.

We will continue to revise and update our centre policies in the coming weeks.
