🦠 You’ve probably heard the term RSV, but what exactly is it?

RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) is a common and highly contagious virus that affects the lungs and respiratory tract. While it often causes mild, cold-like symptoms in healthy adults, it can be serious for:

👶 Infants
👵 Older adults
💉 Those with weakened immunity

RSV spreads easily through coughs, sneezes, and shared surfaces, and it’s one of the leading causes of hospitalisation in infants during the cooler months.

At Paratus Clinical, we're proud to support clinical research aimed at better understanding and preventing RSV, including vaccine and treatment development.

Do you have a family history of cardiovascular disease?
We are looking for participants with raised lipoprotein (a), a type of cholesterol to help us evaluate if an investigational product could reduce cardiovascular events. Want to know if you’re eligible?
Apply now: https://paratusclinical.com/study-application-page-j3l-mc-ezef

Study Information:
This is a long term, phase 3, placebo-controlled clinical trial. If eligible, participants will attend at least 14 in clinic visits over approximately 4 years. At the clinic visits, participants will discuss the study with the doctor and clinic staff, and undergo physical examinations, blood tests, vital sign measurements and ECGs. These visits will include a fasted blood test and therefore will be booked in the morning.
The treatment will be given by subcutaneous injection once every 6 months for the first 1.5 years and then once a year until the end of the study. This study has a 1:1 ratio of treatment to placebo, which is randomly generated. You will not know which group you are in to prevent bias results.
