Practice Manager
A full time opportunity is now available at North Balckwater General Practice for an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to lead our very busy, well established General Practice.
This is a leadership role overseeing the day-to-day running of a medical clinic committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive, collaborative environment, delivering outstanding care across a range of services from workplace injury management to Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme Assessments.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operational and administrative management of the practice.
KEY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
* overseeing daily operations and clinic workflow, ensuring all aspects of the practice runs seamlessly .
* leading, mentoring, and developing a team of reception and clinical staff.
* ensuring compliance with Medicare, RACGP standards, and other relevant regulations .
* managing patient bookings, recalls systems, and overall patient experience .
* liaising with Gp’s, nurses, allied health professionals , and external providers
* managing business performance , reporting, and financial processes (billing, receipting, banking, payroll)
* maintaining the practice’s accreditation, systems, policies, and procedures
ABOUT YOU:
* previous experience as a Practice Manager in a general practice or similar healthcare setting (Essential)
* proficiency in Best Practice or related software (Highly Regarded)
* Human Resources management experience, including recruitment and performance management aspect for both administrative and clinical staff, including GP’s.
* excellent communication and organisational abilities
* A proactive and solutions-focused approach
* understanding of Medicare billing, item numbers, and healthcare compliance requirements
* tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Nursing similar are advantageous
