Life doesn’t always go according to plan… and that’s okay. My retreat venue, booked six months ago, recently cancelled. My first reaction? Frustration. 😟
Then I reminded myself: change doesn’t derail a vision, it redirects it. Something even better is on the horizon. ✨
The retreat is taking shape into a boutique, nurturing experience with meditation, Qigong, Ayurvedic cooking, and soulful rituals. Life’s twists sometimes lead us to exactly where we’re meant to be.

Recently, a client came to see me feeling overwhelmed and highly stressed. A difficult family situation had left her feeling powerless, caught in a loop of guilt, confusion and sleepless nights. 😟
During our hypnotherapy session, we worked on calming her nervous system and gently shifting her perspective. Instead of feeling trapped by the chaos around her, she began to see where she did have choice, control, and inner strength. 💪
By the end of the session, her shoulders had dropped, her breath was steady, and she described feeling more grounded than she had in weeks. She left with a sense of empowerment—knowing she couldn’t change others, but she could change how she responded, and that made all the difference.

Positive community and environment news!

A few weeks ago we gathered as a community to plant 700 plants, to restore biodiversity to the creeks.
🥰 Community coming together is what makes us healthy.
🌿 Being in nature makes us healthy
🌳 Planting and repairing the land makes our fragile earth healthier.

I recently ran a wellbeing program in a veterinary clinic. It was such an honour to work with the team.
To watch their resilience, teamwork and confidence grow is heartwarming.

Let’s look underneath the label you’ve been given by someone else or maybe by yourself, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD or maybe an addiction or a phobia. The common conditions we are diagnosed with are our bodies way of trying to manage underlying unresolved issues.
On a conscious level you know past life experiences have affected you and you have worked at letting it go, but unconsciously it’s still happening, so you’re body doesn’t know the event is over, to your unconscious mind it’s like it’s happening now! This can also affect your health, leading to health issues such as irritable bowel symptoms, tension headaches, chronic pain, lethargy and chronic fatigue.
Do you feel like you’re constantly battling to keep on top of it, like you’re just using a band aid? You see our nervous system is wired to protect us, when difficult life experiences occur your body pays more attention so that it can keep you safe, but the problem is, sometimes it’s getting too protective, so when small things happen, you overreact and everyday life becomes even more stressful.
Everything from major traumatic life events such as being diagnosed with cancer, or being in a car accident, being bullied, right through to seemingly harmless comments thrown around in the school yard get stored in the unconscious mind and it can shape our beliefs about ourselves.
Working together we can let the body know it’s safe, change the unconscious core beliefs to put you back in the drivers seat of your life. I use The Richards Trauma Process (TRTP), because it is safe, quick and effective. I also use regular hypnotherapy for habit based issues and for when motivation is low.
