What I’ve seen — again and again — is that when women finally give themselves space… real space… something shifts.
They soften.
They breathe differently.
They reconnect with themselves in a way that feels unfamiliar… but right.
And when they go back to their lives, they don’t just go back the same.
They respond differently.
They have more clarity.
More energy.
More compassion for themselves.
That’s why this matters so much.
The Time for Me Retreat isn’t about escaping life, it’s about returning to it
with more of yourself intact, whole... 💛

I hear this so often…
“I’ll take time for myself when things settle down.”
But life doesn’t really work like that, it just shifts from one thing to the next!
And before we know it, months… or even years pass without us ever truly stopping.
It’s not because we don’t want to — it’s because we’ve been conditioned to put ourselves last.
That’s why intentional space is so important.
Because it doesn’t happen by accident.
It happens when we choose it.
That’s the intention behind the Time for Me Retreat - a space that’s been created for you, so you don’t have to keep waiting for the “right time.”
Because sometimes… this is the right time. 🌿💛

For a long time, I believed that if I just worked on myself quietly, I would get where I needed to be, and there’s value in that…
But what I’ve come to realise is this, there are some layers we can’t reach on our own.
Because the very thing that protects us — our independence, our ability to hold it all together — can also keep us a little guarded.
It’s in safe, supportive spaces with others
that those layers begin to soften.
Where you feel seen… and something inside you relaxes.
That’s why the retreat isn’t just about time out — it’s about connection.
And in that connection,
there’s often a release that you didn’t even know you needed. 💛🌿

Our nervous system needs space to recalibrate and our mind to find a different perspective, that's much easier when we get out of our environment and create a sacred healing container.... space...
It’s not that people can’t cope — it’s that their nervous system is exhausted.
Always “on,” always thinking, always holding something for someone.
And when we live like that for too long, we don’t just feel tired…
we feel disconnected from ourselves.
That’s why space matters so much.
Not just a quick break… but real, intentional time where your body can soften and your mind doesn’t have to keep scanning for the next thing.
That’s the deeper reason behind the Time for Me Retreat.
It’s a space to gently come out of that constant “go mode”…
and reconnect with yourself again. 🌿💛

🌿 Maybe it’s not that you need to do more…
Maybe it’s that you’ve been carrying too much for too long.
The responsibilities.
The expectations.
The emotional load that no one else really sees.
Being the one who holds it all together…the one others rely on…
the one who keeps going, even when you’re tired.
And somewhere underneath it all, there’s a quiet part of you that just wants space.
Not to fix anything.
Not to be productive.
Just… space to breathe.
To put things down for a while.
To come back to yourself.
Because when you’re constantly holding everything for everyone else, there’s very little room left for you.
And over time, you start to feel it.
That heaviness.
That quiet exhaustion.
That sense of being a little disconnected from yourself.
It’s not a sign that you’re not coping…
It’s a sign that something within you is asking for care.
Real care.
The kind that allows you to soften, to be supported, and to restore what’s been depleted.
We’re not meant to carry it all without space to recharge.
And sometimes, the most important thing we can do…
is give ourselves permission to step back and receive. 💛🌿

Burnout isn't always from doing too much... sometimes it's from using 'doing' to avoid whats underneath.

We are in times of stress and uncertainty, it can feel easier to slip into doom scrolling and fortune telling, in other words anxiety!
However focussing on what you can control and being a version of your true self, that rises to the challenges and becomes the empowered positive energy the world does need is the light we all need.
It's the focus on separation and fear that separates us, and that is what corrupt power relies on divide and conquer.
The No Kings rallies that are happening are the sign of hope, strength and courage, collective power of justice and community strength.
I believe we all need power within not power over...

Lately, I’ve been noticing just how many people are feeling… wrung out.
Not just a little tired — but that deeper kind of exhaustion where your nervous system feels stretched, your energy is flat, and even small things can feel like a lot.
I see it so often in the women I work with — and if I’m honest, I’ve felt it too.
We’re holding so much.
Workplace pressures.
Demanding situations.
Caring for children… and for parents.
Sometimes both at once — that “sandwich” stage of life where you’re supporting everyone around you.
Add in running a business, friendships, expectations, and just the everyday mental load…
and it’s no wonder our energy starts to feel depleted.
It’s not just physical, it’s emotional and energetic too.
Like your system has been running on high for too long, without enough time to reset.
And yet, so many of us keep going… telling ourselves we’ll rest later.
But the truth is, we’re not meant to run on empty.
We’re not meant to keep giving when our own cup is dry… or our battery is flat.
We are allowed to have time to rebuild.
To restore.
To come back to ourselves.
Not because we’ve earned it…
but because we need it. 💛
I’ve been reflecting on this a lot lately, how important it is to create space to recharge, not just physically, but emotionally and mentally too.
I’m curious…
are you feeling this as well? 🌿

You're not ungrateful... but there may be something blocking you in connecting with it. 😵💫

There was something really special about yesterday. 🌿
A group of people chose to pause…
to step out of the noise, the pace, the pressure and gave themselves permission to reset.
We spoke about the reality so many are feeling right now…
the constant busyness, the expectations, the underlying tension,
and how easy it is to get caught in a world that feels a little fear-driven and overwhelming at times.
But instead of staying stuck in that…
we explored what it looks like to come back to ourselves.
Through simple tools, gentle awareness, breath, and Qigong,
we practised shifting out of the busy, critical mind
and into a more grounded, calm and connected state.
Not by forcing it…
but by working with the body.
And that’s what stood out most —
how quickly things can change when we give the nervous system what it actually needs.
Slower breath.
Softer body.
Less pressure.
More compassion.
To everyone who came along - thank you. 🙏
For showing up. 🙌
For being open. 🌸
For giving yourself that time. 💗
Because in a world that keeps speeding up…
choosing to slow down is powerful. 💫

Specialising in treating the root cause of anxiety, depression, addictions, phobias, PTSD and more. Offering effective safe therapies to finding the power within by restoring a true sense of self and resolving the deep seated emotions of distress.
Let’s look underneath the label you’ve been given by someone else or maybe by yourself, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD or maybe an addiction or a phobia. The common conditions we are diagnosed with are our bodies way of trying to manage underlying unresolved issues.
On a conscious level you know past life experiences have affected you and you have worked at letting it go, but unconsciously it’s still happening, so you’re body doesn’t know the event is over, to your unconscious mind it’s like it’s happening now! This can also affect your health, leading to health issues such as irritable bowel symptoms, tension headaches, chronic pain, lethargy and chronic fatigue.
Do you feel like you’re constantly battling to keep on top of it, like you’re just using a band aid? You see our nervous system is wired to protect us, when difficult life experiences occur your body pays more attention so that it can keep you safe, but the problem is, sometimes it’s getting too protective, so when small things happen, you overreact and everyday life becomes even more stressful.
Everything from major traumatic life events such as being diagnosed with cancer, or being in a car accident, being bullied, right through to seemingly harmless comments thrown around in the school yard get stored in the unconscious mind and it can shape our beliefs about ourselves.
Working together we can let the body know it’s safe, change the unconscious core beliefs to put you back in the drivers seat of your life. I use The Richards Trauma Process (TRTP), because it is safe, quick and effective. I also use regular hypnotherapy for habit based issues and for when motivation is low. Contact me to discuss to see if you are suitable for TRTP or regular hypnotherapy.
