Another beautiful week of Student Clinic comes to a close 🌿

I love working with my tribe. These students are drawn to plant medicine for a reason. It’s in our veins.

Watching their confidence grow over the week as they learn to trust their training, their instincts and natures healing gifts, our plants.

Thank you to the clients who booked in, and gave the space to a final year herbalist or naturopath to hone their skills.

We have a few spots left next week. Book in via my website. Link above.

The future of herbal medicine is in caring hands 🌱

Mother’s Day in the garden.

There is quiet street in Blacktown, in amongst manicured lawns, sits a jungle-like yard.
An old oak tree planted when I was a child. I remember being told, “One day you’ll climb this tree.”
And we did.

My siblings and the neighbourhood kids, all scrambling up its giant branches the highest point was like a right of passage, the place where the trunk split in two way and the leaves parted — a perfect foothold to look out across the rooftops and feel on top of the world. Triumphant over the scaredy cats peering up from the ground, wanting to be in the place that your 10 year old self grinned down from.

Today the tree is almost twice the size and
Dad worries about the green tunnel the garden forms over the footpath where strangers bump their heads beneath.

But to me, it feels like life itself,
Wild and Protective. Viriditas.

This Mother’s Day, Mum and I spent the day clearing out my garden, planting new memories of plants and people

I hope your Mother’s Day was peaceful.
Being a mother is my biggest blessing, makes my heart explode just thinking of my three boys…… but I know it’s also a time of grief and pain for others.
Go gentle and spend some time amongst the plants. 🌿

I hear people tell me they feel like they are “failing” when they fall out of routine.

But Healing has its own rhythm

we move forward, we pause, we drift, we return.

The key is not perfection… it’s about coming back to rhythm.

Our Home Healer class dove into cleanse & detoxification — the way our liver, kidneys, bowels, lungs, skin & lymphatics naturally clear wastes and keep us vital. 🌬️🫁🫀

We discussed foods, herbs that support these pathways.
🥕🥕 Then we tasted some vibrant juices & smoothies. 🥬🥒🍏
Next week we are all doing a spring cleanse
together
Why not join in!
