Did you know fresh pressed juice can be used as medicine?
🥕Not as a trend.
🥕Not as a lose weight fast fad.
🥕But as therapeutic plant nutrition.
When we juice fresh vegetables and herbs, we concentrate phytonutrients, enzymes and minerals in a way that makes them super bioavaible, like a pure, natural boost of natures goodness.
Juicing supports the body’s natural cleansing pathways — liver, lymph, skin and digestion.
In the Home Healer program, we don’t just talk about herbs and make medicines.
We learn:
🌿 How to use fresh juices therapeutically
🌿 How to detox gently and intelligently
🌿 How to make teas, tinctures and infused oils
🌿 How to understand the body through tissue states
🌿 How to work with plants as true medicine
This is a practical, grounded, traditional knowledge filled, made usable for out busy modern life.
Enrolments are open.
Comment “HEAL” if you’d like the details or check out the link below🌿

Calendula infused oil 🌼
Topically, calendula is one of our best skin-repair herbs.
It’s slightly warming and gently drying — which makes it beautiful for damp, irritated, stagnant tissue.
Think:
✔ Weepy eczema
✔ Slow-healing cuts
✔ Puffy, reactive skin
✔ Minor burns
✔ Baby skin (esp nappy rash)
Simple remedies.
Real medicine.
Save this recipe for your home apothecary.
Share it with someone who needs simpler skincare.

Our Home Healer class dove into cleanse & detoxification — the way our liver, kidneys, bowels, lungs, skin & lymphatics naturally clear wastes and keep us vital. 🌬️🫁🫀
We discussed foods, herbs that support these pathways.
🥕🥕 Then we tasted some vibrant juices & smoothies. 🥬🥒🍏
Next week we are all doing a spring cleanse
together

Oh to begin this story with my birth in a field of wild lavender, followed with a childhood bathed nightly in chamomile flowers. Raised on nothing but fresh air, tree climbing and wholefoods. Tending to our biodynamic/permaculture backyard, bottling produce and making home remedies under the guidance of my loving, radiantly healthy parents, singing lullabies in foreign languages while playing the ukulele into the night …
But no. I grew up in the blue collar western suburbs of Sydney with dreams of being a nurse. I loved the hands on work and genuine caring of nurses and while still in preschool I recall declaring in a loud voice, “I’m going to be a nurse!” As a pr***en I would get lost in a series of novels about nurses working with the sick in the community, no doctor in sight. My story continues in a way which may relate to more of you than the opening paragraph. Let’s just say my youth was a tad wild ok? My poor parents and my poor body. At 23 I instinctively knew I couldn’t continue polluting my body and became a vegan.
I devoured any vegetarian literature I could get hold of, reading amazing stories of recovery from life-threatening and chronic illnesses through nutrition, herbal remedies, and other natural healing therapies. I fell in love with the amazing, complex, unique, delightful, frustrating, intelligent piece of machinery our body is. At the age of 30, I reignited my passion for health and healing embarking on a full-time study at a major naturopathic school in Sydney. After 3 years of study, I signed up for Dorothy Hall’s Herbal Medicine College. She was 74 years old and I was pregnant with my first child and her ways really resonated with me, acknowledging not only physical manifestations of health or ill health but the impact emotions and circumstance play in sickness. I have been using this holistic, style since then.
My own healing has been a source of education and insight too, battling an addictive personality and an ability to run my adrenals into overload. Healing, is a life journey on all levels, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. Physically, I have returned to a plant-based diet and enjoy road and trail running with a couple of marathons and a 50km trail run under my belt. Spiritually, I spend time in prayer, over my medicines, my work, and for each client before opening the doors of the clinic. I acknowledge a loving Creator as the true source of all healing, myself merely a vessel. My husband’s support grounds me emotionally as I walk two paths as both a recipient of healing and a channel of healing to others. Mentally, I am continually upgrading my skills, seeking teachers who share a similar methodology of diagnosis and prescribing, elders found with dirt under their nails rather than a white lab coat. I devour books, podcasts, articles, and blogs on natural health and healing and balance this knowledge with the mainstream science of a Masters of Human Nutrition, which I am completing through Deakin University in Melbourne.
As a wife and mother of three delightfully feral boys, I understand the juggling of ethics, values, and time. I believe as parents we have entered into a new paradigm. One where our families are exposed to synthetic chemicals, food additives, preservatives, and processed junk. I battle and don’t always win, to keep my family on a wholefood diet. I am a believer and supporter of parents to have access to natural childbirth and the right to a private midwife and homebirth. I encourage bonding, baby carrying, breastfeeding, and bringing up the next generation on whole foods and natural medicines to encourage strong bodies.
Education is power and I am not talking about the education that comes from pharmaceutical funded scare campaigns or agenda biased governments. Researching and self-education have never been more important.
Modern Medicine has made some very valuable life-saving additions to healthcare, particularly with acute life-threatening issues. If I was to cut my leg off, hypothetically, of course, I wouldn’t wrap a comfrey leaf around it but head straight for a surgeons table But if I was experiencing things like chronic inflammation in my knee, reoccurring headaches, the anxiety produced heart palpitations, hormonal nightmares, digestive upsets, restless nights or tired days my beloved herbs would be my first point of call, hands down.
I’d love you to come along to where we can discuss any illness patterns you or your family are experiencing. We can discuss how the ancient herbal medicines and a tried and tested Traditional Approach to Healing can help support/combat/reverse/prevent the impact of this modern world on your health and wellbeing.
With Much Love
ALLY
