We’re not only passionate about providing ultrasound services — we’re also working to make health education more accessible and empowering.

That’s why Katrina, our founder and sonographer, has created HerHealth — a new initiative focused on helping young women and parents of girls about to hit puberty better understand their bodies with clear, science-backed information.

As part of this project, we’ve launched a free quiz that covers everything from anatomy and periods to fertility, contraception, PCOS, and more.

It’s designed to help people check what they know, learn something new, and identify the gaps that health class might have missed. Every quiz response also helps us build insight into where people are most confused — so we can create resources that really make a difference.

Let's bust some common women's health myths!
🔍 Myth: Period pain is normal and you just have to deal with it.
Truth: While mild discomfort is common, severe period pain isn't normal and could indicate underlying conditions.
Period pain (Dysmenorrhea) and Pelvic pain are common reasons that we see women for pelvic ultrasounds.
If you're experiencing period pain that you don't think is normal, it's time to have a chat with your GP.

At Blayney Ultrasound and through our mobile services, we provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services and 3D pregnancy ultrasounds to support families and healthcare providers across rural and regional communities.

Beyond imaging, I’m passionate about making healthcare experiences more positive through our educational programmes — from children's workshops designed to ease medical fears, to community initiatives that empower families with knowledge and confidence.
