STAGE 3 - A Portrait in the making titled 'Still Me'. This is a detail from Day 3. So many more layers to do. It comprises 2 portraits within one, so this one could take a while.
With my portraits I look for the inner child, the inner essence.
This is to find the 'Still Me' within the person.
Acrylics and watercolour on canvas.

Portrait of 'Jess' circa 2012.
This was when I was first experimenting with a large Wacom monitor tablet drawing directly into Adobe Photoshop.
Nowadays I prefer to use actual watercolours and acrylics.
But it is interesting to see how I was experimenting with media back then.
