Today, I left the world behind and stepped into the Liverpool Plains. The sunflower trail has finally opened, and standing there surrounded by thousands of radiant faces turned toward the sky felt like a pilgrimage for the spirit.
These flowers are the earth’s natural reminders of how to live. They practice heliotropism, a dedicated turning of the head to follow the sun from dawn until the last light fades. In doing so, they teach us the most important lesson of all. Where you point your attention is where you find your joy.
As I wandered through the rows, the benefits of being immersed in this landscape felt immediate and deep...
Sunflowers Stand Tall. They take up space and bloom with confidence. Walking among them, I felt my own posture shift, a reminder that we are all allowed to stand tall in our own truth.
The open plains has a way of making our worries feel small. Field bathing, breathing in the scent of the earth and the golden pollen activates a total nervous system reset, quietening the mind so the soul can finally be heard.
All we need is moments like this...To get a little dust on our boots and a lot of sunshine in our hearts. The Liverpool Plains offered me a golden sanctuary today, a place where the only requirement was to breathe and turn toward the light.
If your spirit feels a little heavy or your path feels a bit dark, I hope you find your own field of gold. May you learn, like the sunflower, that if you keep your face to the sun, the shadows will always fall behind you 💛🌞✨️
