We have a beautiful intimate group gathering happening tomorrow (Saturday 23rd of March) at BVEAL.

The plan is to meet and greet in the fairy garden then head off for a forage on the farm before settling around the fire or in the back shed for some nature crafts and chats.

Do we ride the ponies at BVEAL?

No.

This experience is just for me. It’s important for me to keep this magical part of my relationship with the ponies to myself. Am I a serious rider? Well… you decide. I do more singing, dancing, regulating and patting than serious riding. And that’s ok.

Before I studied EAL I didn’t really understand why I ‘didn’t fit in’ in the horsey world. I now understand why. Because the conversations I have with them are more important than their ‘job’. They owe me nothing. Just existing near me makes my heart bust with excitement, love and pride. To be walking along side them is the greatest gift in this universe.

I often get new clients say ‘this might sound weird, but I like the company of animals more than humans’. My answer is you belong here.

In sessions I might say ‘What did the ponies have to tell you today?’ And every time there are deep and beautiful answers from clients.

So if you love animals, are a bit ‘quirky or weird’, or think slightly different to your peers. Maybe this place is for you.

In our sessions we balance active experiences with calm tinkering. We track our clients needs and tune into the weather, and each individuals experience.

Sometimes it will be sitting painting, other times building in nature play or leading a pony. We can get to hung up as adults to plan and execute the plan. But what if in that moment we needed stillness? What if we needed big body movement?

We are reaching to find the inner balance. The art of resting. The shifts in self awareness to notice, name and express what the client needs in each moment. Moving towards balance, reducing burn out.

💫🦄🧚🏻 Growing up I felt like the world was really fast and loud and when I was with horses everything just became quiet. I felt grounded and connected. Horses were my best friends, I told them all of my secrets, I spent the most time with them, I felt truly seen and connected to something bigger than myself in this world. Sharing that gift at BVEAL is like nothing else.
