"The Widex Moment 440 is my 5th set of hearing aids since 1997. The difference in the technology since those days is phenomenal. I wear my hearing aids from the time I wake up until I go to bed, so I need high performance and comfort. These domes are so much more comfortable than moulds, and much easier to keep clean. But the hearing aids themselves are unlike anything I have experienced before. The sound is incredibly clear and true - my husband keeps making jokes about my supersonic hearing. Itās fabulous. I had forgotten all the simple things I was missing like being able to hear from the next room, my two babies practicing their talking under their breath while they play, or even knowing what direction a sound is coming from. No more wandering the house to locate a noise! Thereās a very detailed app to control the hearing aids which I had a play with, but I havenāt needed to adjust anything. The Moment 440s adjust to whatever noise situation Iām in automatically. Most of the hearing accessories I bought are still boxed up as Iām cruising along well without them still. I can even listen to music/take calls/or watch movies directly via Bluetooth. I listen to spotify while I clean late at night without disturbing my family. Thatās just the fun stuff.
3 months ago I couldnāt hear on the home phone clearly. I relied on the dog to tell me when there was someone at the door, my 2 year old was alerting me when the baby cried and fetching the phone when it rang, and I couldnāt attend face-to face appointments for *anything* without my partner there to be my ears. I was using 5 year old technology, and only one aid was working anyway - on my ābadā ear. Getting the Widex Moment 440 hearing aids hasnāt just changed my life, itās vastly improved things for my entire family. I am running the entire household, and my partnerās business without any help from anyone. Frequent appointments, a flurry of phone calls, and homeschooling my Autistic child are relatively simple procedures now that I can Hear.
