Women’s Health Week is here with the theme “Say Yes to You.”

Sometimes saying yes isn’t about doing more, it’s about giving yourself permission to pause. To listen to your body, to rest when you need, and to lean on support around you.

In pregnancy and birth, saying yes to yourself might be:
🌿 Choosing rest without guilt
🌿 Trusting your instincts
🌿 Letting your needs come first

This week is a reminder that you don’t have to prove anything, you are allowed to take up space, slow down, and say yes to you.🤍

This year’s Women’s Health Week theme is “Say Yes to You.”

At Born Ready, we believe that means saying yes to knowledge, preparation and confidence in your body and your choices.

Fear can creep into pregnancy and birth but it doesn’t have to stay. With the right tools and understanding, fear can be replaced with calm, trust, and empowerment.

Saying yes to YOU might look like:
✨ Learning how your body works in labour
✨ Practicing strategies with your partner
✨ Backing yourself to feel strong and capable

🧡 This week is a reminder that your needs matter. Your voice matters. And you are allowed to say yes to you.

“Would highly recommend to others. I feel more empowered and have learnt so much about what’s to come - especially how to look after my pelvic floor during pregnancy and labour.”

This is exactly why we do what we do.

Because feeling prepared isn’t just about knowing the stages of labour, it’s about understanding your body, your options, and how to support yourself every step of the way.

Madison from shares why she loves delivering Born Ready:

It’s about empowering women with practical, evidence-based education and helping each woman understand her anatomy, her options, and her birth.

The combination of online modules and in-person workshops means there's time to absorb, ask questions, and actually practice what you’re learning.

Partner support during birth isn’t just about being in the room, it’s about knowing what to do when things get intense.

In our Born Ready workshops, we give partners clear, practical tools so they can show up with confidence, not guesswork.

Here are 3 simple but powerful strategies partners learn:
- How to use hands-on techniques to help manage pain during contractions
- How to advocate for your preferences when communication feels hard
- How to create a calm, grounded environment, whether you’re birthing at home or in hospital

Because real support means more than just holding a hand, it means being an active, informed part of the process.

Petra from shares how the Born Ready course + workshop gives women the confidence to back themselves, ask questions, and feel equipped to make informed choices for themselves and their baby.

Because birth isn’t linear and feeling prepared means having the knowledge to pivot, adapt and stay grounded, no matter what path it takes.

Think of birth as an endurance sport. Because it is! 🧡

It takes preparation, strategy, and serious mental strength. And just like sport, no two performances look the same.

That’s why we’ve introduced a brand new module inside Born Ready: The Female Athlete.

Designed for women who move, train, lift, run (or all of the above), it dives into how your athletic background can influence your birth, recovery, and pelvic health and how to work with this, not against it.

Because being strong is your superpower and the way you prepare for birth should reflect that.

We are so passionate about making sure women feel informed and supported - not just during birth, but in the lead-up and everything that comes after.

Because when you understand your body, your rights, and your options, you’re not just going through birth, you’re actively part of it.

It’s your body, and it’s your birth. Always.

So much of the fear around birth comes from not knowing what to expect.

Jo says it best: “The antidote to fear is knowledge.”

And that’s exactly why Born Ready exists- to give you the tools, education, and support to feel informed, confident, and ready for whatever birth brings.

“Fantastic course for those with a more clinical brain. It gave me the logic to make better choices and feel more in control of my birth experience.”

We love this. Because birth prep isn’t one-size-fits-all and for some, feeling calm and confident comes from understanding the WHY behind the process.

Born Ready is about evidence-based education that helps you connect the dots, ask questions, and feel grounded in your decisions.
