💥 Disc Herniation: When one of your back discs decides to bulge and irritate a nearby nerve, leading to lower back or leg pain that gets your attention fast. It sounds scary, but most disc issues calm down really well with the right mix of movement, strength, and time.
💥 Costochondritis: That sharp, annoying chest pain that feels dramatic but comes from irritated rib cartilage, not your heart. It often flares with deep breaths, twisting, or pressing on the spot. They usually settles with some light treatment, gentle mobility, and gradual loading.

Growing up in the eastern suburbs, Matt’s been involved in sport for as long as he can remember. After experiencing a few injuries of his own, he found his passion for physio, combining his love of sport with helping others reach their goals.
He’s spent time in London honing his skills with some of the best Connect Therapy practitioners and now loves helping athletes of all levels get back to what they love most.
