This is the one we wish more people heard before they needed it.
Most people come to us, physio or therapist, when things have already broken down. The injury is severe. The anxiety is overwhelming. The relationship with food, with rest, with their body, has become something they can’t ignore anymore.
And we can absolutely work with that. Crisis is valid. Crisis deserves support.
But prevention is a different kind of work. And it’s quieter, and harder to justify to yourself when things feel mostly fine.
If you’re someone who trains hard, lives at pace, holds a lot together, your nervous system is working overtime. You don’t have to wait until it stops coping to pay attention to it.
You can be disciplined and gentle. You can be high achieving and know when to slow down. Those things aren’t opposites. They’re actually what sustainable performance looks like.
This series has been about naming what goes on underneath.. in the body and the mind. If any of it has resonated, that recognition is worth something.
Feel like this resonates or know someone who it might help? Send it there way!
