I’m often asked for baby name inspiration, so instead of my usual suggestion (Alex), here’s a list of the babies I’ve had the privilege of welcoming into the world in 2025.

It was a year for the boys with a 60% majority. I had the joy of delivering 7 sets of twins. My biggest graduate was Cruze, weighing in at an impressive 4622 grams (only 2 days overdue), while the smallest was Finn, who weighed 1031 grams at 27 weeks gestation. My most overdue baby was Macy, who was born at 42 weeks gestation.

The most popular boys’ names were Leo/Leon/Leonardo (9), Oliver (5) and Eli/Elias/Elliot (5), while the most popular girls’ names were Lily/Lillian/Liliana (4) and Sofia/Sophie (4).

With a family this photogenic and a house this tidy, it’s no surprise Jo and James keep having more children.
