Receptionist Required- Bribie Doctors Group

Employment Type: Part-Time / Full Time – 4-5 days per week

Description: Bribie Doctors located on beautiful Bribie Island is seeking an medical receptionist to be a part of our friendly team of 3 clinics – located at Bongaree, Woorim and Banksia Beach

Key responsibilities include:
- Appointment book management – including scheduling of appointments, arrival of patients and billing of consultations
- Correspondence management – incoming and outgoing
- General administrative roles including but not limited to scanning, patient enquires, stock control
- Working as part of an experienced reception team in a fast paced and friendly environment.
- Good computer skills with knowledge of programs including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new programs such as Best Practice.

Essential criteria:
• General Practice experience is encouraged but not essential
• Energetic and motivated to work
• Strong customer relationship skills due to high level of customer interaction in role.
• Ability to work 4-5 days per week (open and close shifts)
• Friendly, empathetic, mature and courteous nature
• Reliable, punctual and well-presented professionally
• Professional work ethic with a solution-oriented and positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and aptitude to develop into and beyond current role
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to prioritise, organise and multi-task
• Work effectively in a team and individually
• Flexibility with working hours to cover holiday leave and sick leave

Dr Nabin has shifted his workplace from Sunshine Coast to Bribie Island. He has vast experience in General Medicine , Mental health issues, Emergency medicine, Paediatrics and Orthopaedics. He is a compassionate and empathetic doctor with sound clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills. His initial medical training was in Nepal. He has lived and worked in NSW before calling Moreton Bay region his home. He has special interest in Chronic Disease management.

Bribie Doctors proudly welcomes Dr Natasha Concisom to our Bongaree Practice.
Dr Natasha is relocating from a busy GP Practice at Kilcoy to Bribie Island. She did her basic training in Malaysia and has been working in the Australian Health System in various roles in Rural/ Remote and urban locations. She has additional qualifications in Child health and has vast experience working with Children. She has special Interest in Skin Cancer Assessment /Management/ Procedures and Chronic Disease management.
She has presented in various International and National Medical conferences and has actively volunteered with various Charitable organisations over the last many years. She strongly believes in treating every single patient holistically to improve the quality of each patient’s lives in line with what is important to them. She would strongly like to support and contribute her skills and experience that she has gathered to the community.

Bribie Doctors is seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse to be a part of our friendly team of 12 Doctors, receptionists and nursing staff. In this new role you will be working within the clinics (Bongaree, Surfside and Banksia Beach) as a general practice nurse but also conducting in-clinic Health Assessments for Over 75 Patients and participation in COVID Vaccination clinics.
Key responsibilities include:
· Wound management
· Vaccinations - Adult & Children
· Handling Emergencies & Triage
· Procedures including Venesection’s and Biopsies
· ECG and Spirometry
· Ear Syringing
· Sterilisation of instruments
· Health Management including health assessment’s
· Preparing kits/trolley's for minor surgical procedures
· COVID / Flu Vaccination Clinics
· Inventory and Stock Management

Applicants must have:
· Previous practice nurse experience in a GP practice preferred but not essential
· A good working knowledge of Windows, MS Office.
· Experience with Best Practice and previous accreditation experience will be an advantage.
· Excellent organisational and time management skills
· High level interpersonal skills to relate well to patients, staff and health care professionals.
· Passion for your role to take pride in seeing the service grow and be successful. ·
· Able to commit to required hours, including after hours Australian Citizen/ Permanent Resident
