“Exercise is a micro-stressor to help you handle the macro-stressors”

This is true across a few aspects!
On a tissue level, micromanage occurs as we exercise and push thresholds of our tissues. But not to be alarmed! This is very normal and most of the time you won’t notice it happens unless the stimulus really exceeds the threshold… helloooo Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS)😅
This can also represent our mentality with facing and overcoming discomfort! Exercise is very much a challenge we can take on and gain control! By pushing ourselves to do something uncomfortable, resilience grows and we can be stronger in other mentally challenging times.
