Be Uplifted Inc Breast Cancer Charity is a Brisbane non-profit charity helping patients struggling with the unexpected costs of breast cancer. 100% donations go to patient care; and how many patients are helped is only limited by donations received. Be Uplifted Inc is an unique breast cancer charity that seeks to improve the lives of local men, women and their families experiencing difficulty or disadvantage as a consequence of breast cancer. Our Brisbane-based charity is committed to supporting local families during breast cancer treatment, and offers support services and care that financially and practically helpful. We are run team by a team of dedicated volunteers, which means every dollar we raise goes back to helping local men and women seriously ill with breast cancer and their families. All donations Be Uplifted Inc receives go directly to making a difference in the lives of local Brisbane breast cancer patients. In recent years, many charities connected to breast cancer and many companies contribute to their nation-wide appeals. Minimal assistance is given to patients undergoing breast cancer treatment, and helping at a grassroots level. Although research money is always required to find ways to treat and manage this disease, 100% of our donations go to support people, not research. Be Uplifted Inc fills that gap; raising money to help breast cancer patients deal with the costs of breast cancer on a personal and practical level. We help pay for things that are very practical like medications, medical tests, food, electricity and phone bills, so that families can still be in touch and supportive even if it’s from a long distance. Every December, Be Uplifted Inc visits the oncology wards of partner hospitals and delivers Christmas hampers to breast cancer patients. All of the services and programs we offer are aimed at alleviating the unique difficulties or disadvantage faced by breast cancer patients and their families. Donations
