looking for a change of scenery,we are looking RN's, EN's and PCW's. We have positions available for Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and PCW's to join our teams on a casual/permanent part time, basis.

PCW's - minimum 6 months experience as an PCW

At Burrowa House we all have a part to play in helping deal with COVID-19 pandemic and for us as aged care workers, caring for the most vulnerable is very important to us.

Our beautiful residents are handling visitor restrictions very well, they know that they can continue to have contact with their family and friends and our staff have implemented ways in which this can be done.

We encourage our residents and family to talk to each other via facetime, skype, emails and phone.

We have set up two computer for our residents to use with the assistance from staff to play games, email, skype, google.
Our residents get great enjoyment out of learning something new.

Staff, residents, family and friends need to be congratulated on the way they are managing through COVID-19.

I would like to thank those in our community and those that live away for their kind donations of sweet. The Easter Bunny didn't forget us at Burrowa House.

The beautiful gestures did not go unnoticed and brought great delight and hope to our residents and our staff.

We will continue to support each other through this crisis that we are all going through.

Burrowa House is situated in the rural country side, it has a home like atmosphere with the old fashioned home cooked meals. People come for respite and want to stay.

Burrowa House Aged Care Hostel has been providing respite care, permanent residential care and independent living services to the older people of Boorowa and surrounding areas for over 20 years, in a supportive and homely environment.
Our professionally trained care staff undertake ongoing training to ensure we are implementing best practice procedures so that our restidents receive the care they need.
At Burrowa House, we promote a communal and social living experience and encourage people to take part in activities of their choosing.

ACCOMMODATION PRICING
From the 1 July 2014, the Living Longer Living Better reforms introduced a choice of payment options for accommodation in aged care facilities.
All resident have the choice to pay for accommodation by a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) or a Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD), OR COMBINATION OF BOTH. The decision on how to pay must be made within 28days of entering into the facility. For further information please contact 02 63853773

Burrowa House is a 12 bed aged care facility. All rooms have been modenised with new carpet and curtains and a re-paint. All rooms have an ensuite bathroom. There is community dining room with excellent, homely, country cooked meals.
Next on our agenda is to expand Burrowa House by an extra eight beds to take accommdation numbers up to 20 guests as the older population grows.
Burrowa Retirement Village consisits of 18 self care one and two bedroom villas with 24hr vital call system.
