Linda Howell is a Clinical Nurse Consultant in Wound Management Victoria, with post graduate qualifications in wound care. She has also undergone further studies in the field of Lymphoedema management and is a qualified Lymphoedema Nurse Practitioner (Advanced)
She has 31 years of nursing experience in the community setting and has specialized in the wound management field for the last 17 ye
ars. In the past 10 years Linda has also developed a passion for managing clients with wounds complicated by Lymphoedema. Linda specializes in Consultancy and development of individualized care plans and strategies to promote healing in complex Case scenarios by providing:
- Assistance with defining aetiology (diagnosis)
- Assessment and development of client/carer based, best practice management plans
- Referral & co-ordination of multidisciplinary team management
- Identification of specialist intervention referral needs
- Review of effectiveness of care plans instigated
- Client and carer education and promotion of independence
