Last term we held another one of our horticulture workshops and the plants are doing nicely in the sunshine on our deck.

We’re growing a few herbs and leafy greens to assist our cooking program and to explore the benefits people can feel to their wellbeing when they engage with plants and gardening. It can be as simple as growing a few herbs at home on a patio, deck, or even the kitchen window. And propagating can be exciting when you see your little cutting turn into a whole new plant!

Keep your eyes out for more of our horticulture workshops in the new year. Visit us at reception if you'd like to cut a few greens to take home.

We joined in the Halloween festivities last week with all the traders from Greythorn Shopping Centre and what fun we had! There was lollies of course, free face painting, a photo booth, balloon clown, carnival rides, and local community groups with their stalls. Don't worry if you missed out, we'll be back next year! Check out some of the fun Trentwood got up too.
