We’re excited to announce that our emotion21 dancers will be performing in the Moomba Parade this Monday, 10th March!

What an incredible month of performances and community engagement for our emotion21 dancers!

Our dancers took the stage at the Carlton Round 19 home game, delivering a powerful performance and sharing their stories about living with Down Syndrome. They also had the honour of being part of the Carlton guard of honor!

Most recently, our dancers wowed a full house at the 15th Indian Film Festival with a vibrant and joyous performance, leaving the audience in awe.

We have had a fantastic few months of performances and community engagement for our emotion21 dancers!

We kicked things off at the World Down Syndrome Congress in Brisbane in July, where our talented dancers not only showcased their skills and professionalism in an inspiring dance performance, but also hosted a Q&A, were co chair speakers and led multiple workshops throughout.

The night was filled with laughter, friendships and a lot of disco dancing.

This week we have been celebrating our incredible emotion21 volunteers from across all six sites, Performance and Artistic Capacity Building groups, and virtual platforms.

Their dedication and time each week ensure our dancers have the best experience in their dance and fitness classes.

We are deeply grateful for their contributions. The success of our programs is largely due to our wonderful volunteers.

Thank you for making a difference to the lives of people in our community living with Down syndrome and their friends and families.
