Morning all. What a start to 2026 it's been. We have floods and drought, fire and terror. Within my circle (not personal) we've had grief and shock, fear and devastating news. It's overwhelming at times. This is your reminder to hold onto the love, the family and friends, and grab all those little bits of joy along the way- to hold you in the hard times. Happy New Year to all my beautiful clients and friends! I've had the last week or so, off in a dip and cheese induced stupor. I had the most magnificent time with my family watching our kids ride motorbikes, swim in the dam and have water/mud fights. My heart is FULL and full of gratitude. BUT, I'm ready to get back to work. I'm so excited to be adding homeopathy to my existing services this year and can't wait to help you. I pray that 2026 is kind to us and that you have a wonderful year! Allison x

I've been so slack (on here)! But this is why. I have been hanging out with my homeo colleagues since 4pm this afternoon. That's after a full day doing bowen, working on my cases and reading journal articles in preparation for this excellent webinar. My brain is utterly exhausted, but my heart is full and happy to be doing something I LOVE!

Happy Fathers Day to all the amazing Dads today! Especially mine. A couple of months ago, burnt out and stressed to my eyeballs, I spent the most magnificent THREE weeks with my wonderful dad at my favourite place in the world.
I slept, studied and swam in my waterhole and my dad made cups of tea, made sure I ate every single meal, and played scrabble with me. That's it. I recharged my batteries and came home to sit my exams. I couldn't have done any of it without my love at home, carying the load. Our kids are lucky to have you as their dad, Ned.

My little love got some cracking high fevers with delirium on Thursday night. In my last life, I would have run to my homeopathy kit and started trying remedies straight away on Thursday morning. I could have given him Aconite because he was feverish and has been out in the cold wind the day before, or Arsenicum because his fever made him thirsty for icy cold water. Understanding the principles of Classical Homeopathy more now, I waited and watched while he was comfortable until I had clear symptoms and was then able to prescribe. I gave Belladonna based on his red face and body with cold extremities, the fever with delirium, his moaning and groaning, and his accelerated pulse.
When giving the similimum (correct remedy), you should expect an initial aggravation and then amelioration. Jake's fever increased while he slept and then went down to normal. Thank goodness. Friday saw the both of us napping on the couch, and today, he is about 70/80% better.
I haven't given another dose as he continues to improve on his own. If his symptoms change, then so will the remedy.
Otherwise, I'll leave it alone and his immune system will handle it.
I'm looking forward to him sleeping in his own bed tonight😄

Fun Fact Friday...
I'M A HOMEOPATH!!!!
Recently passed my exams with the International Academy of Classical Homeopathy. It was gruelling. I am super proud of myself as this course has been historically taught to doctors (by Professor George Vithoulkas). GV is a 93 yr old legend who has been teaching for 59 years!!!

Thank you for the love yesterday! I'm thrilled to see so many familiar faces still here following along on this journey. Just a snippet of what I wrote last night❤️

I love this!! Some of you have literally been with me from the very first garage (cough) clinic. From when I first started at the beach 11 years ago (3 clinics) to Rocky (3 clinics) to my beautiful little patch of paradise in Bouldy. Some of you are brand newbies whom I know just a little. Some of you are my school friends simply lending support for small business (love that; thank you Grammar girls). Some of you came into my life as clients and have become like family. Some of you have trusted me with FOUR babies. ALL of you have trusted me with your story and your health/ your pain/ your sore knees and sciaticas. Truly, it's an honour and I'm super grateful that you're all still here.
It's great to be in a place (in my head) where I feel like reaching out again- to help, serve and connect. Allison x
