đ World Physiotherapy Day đ§Ą
People often ask me why I became a physio⌠and the truth is, I donât have a big âahaâ story to tell.
It wasnât a childhood calling, it wasnât some life-changing epiphany. Even now, I sometimes wonder if Iâll be a physio forever.
But what I do know is this: being a physio has given me a front-row seat to some of the most powerful and moving moments of peopleâs lives. Watching someone take their first pain-free step in months, regain the confidence to move again, or simply breathe a little easier in their bodyâthatâs where the magic is. â¨
Since opening Centred Ground in 2020, Iâve seen that physio is so much more than injury recovery. Itâs about creating spaceâfor healing, for slowing down, for reconnecting to yourself. Itâs about community, trust, and finding balance in body and mind.
So while my path into physiotherapy wasnât marked by a lightning bolt of destiny, my why has grown with every person Iâve had the privilege to work with. đ
On this World Physiotherapy Day, Iâm gratefulâfor movement, for connection, and for every story Iâve been able to share in.
Hereâs to healing, growth, and the courage it takes to begin. đąđ
