We asked Kitson what she loves most about training at Aerial Athletic.

3 Common Beginner Trapeze Mistakes (and how to fix them) ❤️

It’s often the little details that make the biggest difference in how stable, strong and confident you feel on the bar.

Here are 3 common beginner mistakes we see in trapeze classes and the simple fixes to help your movement feel smoother, safer and more balanced:

1️⃣ Single Knee Hold – Taking your leg forward puts extra pressure on the top knee and throws off your balance. Keep your leg heavy and behind you to help lock in securely.

2️⃣ Amazon – Bending your bottom arm and staying upright can make the position unstable. Lock out your bottom arm and lean back to stay lifted and secure.

3️⃣ Gazelle – Keeping your hips tucked makes it hard to find balance. Push your hips back to create a ledge for the bar to rest on and feel safely anchored in place.

Every small correction adds up to more confidence in the air.

✨ Something a little different is coming to the studio…

Imagine this — golden light through the silks, soft music playing, paintbrush in one hand and a glass of wine in the other 🍷🎨

We’re turning Aerial Athletic into an art studio for one special afternoon — hosting for a Paint & Sip experience surrounded by aerial energy, creativity and community.

You don’t have to be an artist (or an aerialist!) to join, just come for the laughs, the colour and the good company.
