🌸 International Women’s Day - Celebrating the Women of OT4You 🌸
Today, we celebrate the incredible women who make up the heart of OT4You.
Every day, our team of passionate Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, and support staff show up with compassion, dedication and expertise to support the children and families in our community.
They advocate fiercely, think creatively, and work collaboratively to help every child build the skills, confidence and independence they need to thrive.
We are proud to be a team led by strong women who lift each other up, support one another’s growth, and are deeply committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of the families we serve across our region.
To the women of OT4You — thank you for your leadership, kindness, resilience and unwavering belief in the potential of every child. 💛

📣 OT4You families — don’t miss this Medicare update.

From the 1st March 2026 Medicare has expanded rebates for children & young people under 25 who need speech pathology for:

• Stuttering
• Speech sound disorders (including ongoing difficulty being understood, persistent speech errors, childhood apraxia of speech, dysarthria)
• Speech differences related to cleft lip and/or palate

For eligible children/young people (with a GP referral), Medicare may now help cover:
✔️ Up to 8 assessment sessions
✔️ Up to 20 treatment sessions
✔️ $87.25 rebate per eligible session (March 2026)

This has now just started, so many families may not have heard yet — but for some kids, this could be a game changer.

💛 Communication shapes everything: confidence, friendships, learning, participation. When support is delayed because of cost, kids don’t just “wait”, they can start holding back.

Not everyone will qualify — but someone in your circle might.
If you’re unsure, chat with your GP about the expanded Medicare speech pathology pathway (M10 items).

We’re excited to share that OT4You's new spaces look like💙

🏠 20 Williams Street
Our primary clinic base — a warm, welcoming space designed for connection, regulation and functional therapy sessions.

🏢 40 Gregory Street
An additional therapy space with room to move, play and explore — perfect for gross motor, group and active sessions.

Having two locations allows us to create the right environment for the right child, while continuing to deliver practical, strengths-based and neuro-affirming support close to home.

Huge thanks to the Neighbourhood Centre and our community for supporting OT4You to continue delivering locally based paediatric Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology services. 💙
