Before we head into a well-earned break, our OT4You team came together to celebrate the highs, the hurdles, the growth, and the incredible teamwork that carried us through 2025.

From welcoming new team members, supporting families through big moments, navigating change and challenges, and always keeping children and families at the heart of everything we do. This team truly showed up for one another.

We are so proud of the care, dedication, resilience, and heart our team brings every single day. Thank you for the laughter, the support, the problem-solving, and the passion you bring to OT4You. 🌈

This year’s theme, Occupational Therapy in Action, highlights the creativity, compassion, and commitment behind the work OTs do every day. 🌈

At OT4You, we’re grateful to walk alongside families across Bowen, Collinsville, and our wider communities, supporting children and families to participate, connect, and thrive in ways that are meaningful to them. 💕

Whether we’re visiting homes 🏠, schools 🏫, or community spaces 🌳, or connecting through telehealth 💻 and clinic visits 🌼, we’re proud to meet families wherever they are.

Occupational Therapy is a creative and compassionate profession that brings participation to life — and we’re so proud of the work we do and the journeys we share at OT4You. 🌟

💛 OT Week 2025 — Occupational Therapy in Action

It’s OT Week! 🙌
This year’s theme, Occupational Therapy in Action, reminds us that every small moment matters.

At OT4You, we see OT in action every day —
✨ When a child ties their shoes, goes to the toilet or dresses themselves for the first time
✨ When a family finds a calmer morning routine
✨ When a parent is able to support their child successfully through co-regulation for the first time.
✨ When a child masters a new skill like riding a scooter or successfully participating in a new activity in the community
✨️When play becomes connection and confidence
✨ When a young person believes in their own abilities

Behind every milestone is teamwork — families, educators, and therapists working together to create opportunities for growth, independence, and joy.

Occupational therapy is about more than goals on paper — it’s about meaningful action, belonging, and helping people do the things that make life rich and fulfilling.

💚 Mental Health Week 2025 💚

This week we’re joining our wider community in recognising the importance of looking after our mental health — because mental health is everybody’s business.

At OT4You, we took some time out this morning to come together as a team — sharing a mindful morning tea, a few laughs, and conversations that remind us how much connection and care matter. 💬☕
Moments like these help us pause, reset, and remember that we’re all human — doing our best, supporting one another, and making space for wellbeing in our busy days.

Taking care of our mental health doesn’t always mean big changes — it can be as simple as:
🌿 Taking a few deep breaths before a busy day
☕ Catching up with a friend
🚶‍♀️ Spending time outside
💬 Talking about how you really feel

We’re proud to be part of a community that continues to look out for one another — this week and every week. 💚

🎄 Expression of Interest – “Everybody Can” Christmas Photos 2025 🎄
This year, OT4You is exploring hosting our very first “Everybody Can” Christmas Photo Experience!

We know that traditional photo settings can sometimes feel overwhelming — so we would like to create a sensory-friendly, inclusive, and supportive environment designed for all children and families to enjoy.

Our photo sessions will be supported by our experienced Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologist, ensuring each child’s individual needs and preferences are understood and supported. From quiet spaces and flexible pacing to creative festive fun, our goal is to help every family capture those special Christmas moments comfortably and confidently.
