My favourite green juice recipe packed with anti-inflammatory properties for gut and liver support πͺ
1 bunch celery
1 k**b ginger
1/2 lemon
1 green apple
Wash, chop and combine all ingredients in a juicer. If you donβt have a juicer, add to a blender with water and blitz, use a fine mesh cloth to strain.
Celery: rich in polyphenols and phthalides shown to reduce systemic inflammation.
Ginger: rich in gingerols which has anti-inflammatory and digestive properties.
Lemon: rich in vitamin C, citric acid and bitter properties, supporting bile flow, liver and digestive function.
Green apple: rich in quercetin and antioxidants that support cellular repair and blood sugar regulation.
