Eat Easy Dietetics has listened to the parents of Bowen and is proud to announce that they will be hosting the “Dietitian’s Guide to Starting Solids” class on Monday 7th July 2025.

If you’ve got a little one ready to start solids or have recently started your solids journey, come join me for a relaxed and practical session.

We’ll be meeting in the lovely Bright Skies suites, where you can bring your bub, lay out a blanket, and get comfy for an interactive hour together.

Our next Sense Rugby program is kicking off soon! 🏉
A play-based group designed to support children in developing skills for movement, connection and confidence through fun and inclusive activities.

Small groups, led by an occupational therapist and supported by wonderful certified coaches - all about fostering growth, participation and a sense of belonging.

Starting mid-May | Thursday afternoons after school
Two groups: ages 3–8 and 9–15
Bowen Sporting Complex - Mudcrabs Homeground

Additional support available before the program begins to assist with group introductions and transition to session.

The Bush Chooks are BACK! 🐔

The Bowen Bush Chooks Womens Rugby League team are back in action for their 2nd year at the Bowen Summer 10’s Carnival on 22nd Feb, 2025 with thanks to major sponsor Refrigerated Technologies & Electro Technologies!

We went from a team of women wanting to give rugby league a crack but yet never having made a tackle to having one big win on game day, but the highlight for us is the friendships formed and the Bush Chooks forever family we have created!

We would be so stoked to have you join our flock, wear some merch and raise funds to be contributed to the Bowen Summer 10s chosen carnival charity - last year from our fundraising efforts we donated $600, this year we want to double it (and maybe double our tries too😝)
