🦷✨ Losing baby teeth is a big milestone!

Around ages 5–6, kids begin the natural tooth exfoliation process — when baby teeth gently loosen as adult teeth grow underneath. You might notice a little wobble, increased curiosity, or your child proudly showing off a “wiggly tooth.” This is all part of healthy development!

Encourage gentle wiggling, keep up great brushing habits, and celebrate each tiny tooth that makes way for a bright, confident smile. 😁✨

If you have any questions about your child’s dental development, we’re here to help- please contact us at Station St Dental 02 4851 4000

Does your dentist ALWAYS ask you if you floss? And how often you floss? Or when you last flossed? And do you always answer honestly?! Yep, sure you do! 😉

Did you know that our equine friends need to see a dentist annually too? Yes, that’s right, ponies, horses and donkeys should all be seen by an equine dentist once a year. The brace they wear may look scary and uncomfortable, but they really aren’t. They just hold the patients mouth open to enable access. This is Ted, he is a 3 year old mini c**t enjoying having his teeth cleaned, sharp edges filed and any remaining wolf teeth (baby teeth) removed.

Where has the year gone? Can you believe we're in March already!? How is that to do list looking?

We're big believers in looking after ourselves [especially after the year we've all had]... so let's focus on teeth [and gums] this month! We've got a whole host of great tips from Dr Craig Fisher at Station St Dental: http://bit.ly/2PqaOLl.

While you're checking out those fab articles, don't forget to book in for a check-up! It feels soooo good to have a clean set of pearly whites and cross something off that to do list.

We spoke to local dentist, Dr Craig Fisher of Station Street Dental in Bowral about which toothbrush is best for healthy teeth and maximising oral health – electric or manual? We ask the big questions here!

Watch out...they’re about, southern highlands friends!

ARGH! It's funnel web season - the current weather conditions (hot, cold, steamy, rainy...and repeat!) are drawing them out, so here’s what you need to know: https://bit.ly/323hsum

Alright... who wants another excuse to eat chocolate? Well, we've found out that chocolate [ok it has to be at least 70% cacao and we aren't talking a whole block here] can help harden tooth enamel. Bingo! Want to know more of the [really] good stuff we should be eating to get super healthy pearly whites? Last time we went for our check-up with Craig from Station St Dental, he gave us the full low down. Check it out here: https://bit.ly/34D7Jgg
