Yesterday we created a magical wattle wonderland with peach flowers for the winter wattle mini sessions. 💐🌸🌼

Here’s a sneak peek from one of the sessions with Mel, Amity and Buddy. I mean come on! So beautiful 😍

It’s a fair bit of work setting up these wattle sessions, but totally worth it. Huge thanks to my husband Gaz who is incredibly patient and helpful… without him these sets wouldn’t be quite so magical. Also thanks to Phoebe for being the most helpful photography assistant as usual!

I’m snowed under with editing at the moment so it’ll be a little while before I can share more… so stay tuned!

I couldn’t resist trying out this new client closet dress on Phoebe… it’s a xxl women’s maternity dress but a few clips here and there made it work.

The colours Mother Nature is throwing us at the moment, combined with the grey skies and wet air. 😍

I am also going through a canoe/kayak phase… I even made some wedding clients climb into a kayak for their portraits a couple of weeks ago 😂 I have a vision in my head, which I haven’t yet executed… if anyone wants to help with that let me know.

Phoebe gave me permission to share these ones and there are others that will remain private and just for us. They’re all gorgeous. This kid is just incredible! 😍💙

Nambucca Birth Photographer

I take enchanting, thought provoking, candid, storytelling images of Birth from Port Macquarie to Grafton as well as Womanhood, Maternity, Newborn and Motherhood photography sessions designed to lift you up, banish your fears of being seen and inspiring you to be the best version of yourself.

My name is Sarah and I was so scared of pregnancy, birth and newborns! I didn’t educate myself and I wanted to “wing it” and just hoped I would get to the other side unscathed. I did get to the other side, not totally unscathed but in love and un-torn at least! Haha. Now that I’m more educated and not terrified of birth, I look back and wish that I had of educated myself and done things differently, perhaps I would have had the birth I dreamed of in my heart. Looking at pro birth photos and stepping into the field myself, I wish I had hired my own birth photographer. Hell, I didn’t even have a maternity hoot done! To have the most life changing event documented, to look back on, with whatever emotions they would evoke, would be amazing, healing, inspiring, something to cherish forever. ENCHANTING. There won’t be a next time for me, but I hope to help other mums on their journeys into birth and motherhood, to give them what I will never have, and just spread the love!
