Imaging Associates (IA) and Imaging Associates Eastern (formerly known as Imaging Independently) are an independent diagnostic imaging practice which is owned and operated by a group of dedicated, highly specialised Radiologists. Imaging Associates has seven private clinics in Box Hill, Mitcham, Tecoma, the Baw Baw region and Wagga Wagga. Imaging Associates Eastern fulfills the medical imaging contract for Eastern Health at Angliss, Box Hill, Healesville and Maroondah Hospitals. IA and IAE are supported by the Imaging Associates Group, which provides management services and administrative support to these entities.

We offer DEXA scan services across our Melbourne, Gippsland, and Wagga Wagga clinics, using the latest imaging technology. DEXA scans (Dual Emission X-ray Absorptiometry), also known as Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD) scans, use low-level x-ray imaging to measure bone density and strength. This allows clinicians to assess the risk of fractures or bone loss, supporting early detection and management of bone health.

Dr Vivek Ramachandran, Executive Director and Director of Interventional Radiology and CT at Box Hill Hospital, Radiologist, specialises in Vascular, Cross sectional, Breast Imaging and Intervention.

Dr Ramachandran enjoys managing patients collaboratively with clinicians to achieve positive outcomes. He completed his medical degree and radiology training in India, passed his radiology fellowship exams in 2006, and the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) examination in 2015.

Meet Dr Kenneth Chuah, Radiologist at Imaging Associates, specialising in Neuroradiology and Musculoskeletal Imaging. With over two decades of experience, Ken has a strong background in MRI and Interventional Radiology and has been a valued educator for future radiologists.

Since joining Imaging Associates in 2013, he has provided expert diagnostic care, performing a full range of general radiology while supporting clinicians with advanced, minimally invasive image-guided techniques.
