Imaging Associates has seven private clinics in Box Hill, Mitcham, Tecoma, the Baw Baw region and Wagga Wagga. Imaging Associates Eastern fulfills the medical imaging contract for Eastern Health at Angliss, Box Hill, Healesville and Maroondah Hospitals. IA and IAE are supported by the Imaging Associates Group, which provides management services and administrative support to these entities.

This World Lung Day, we're reminding referrers of the critical role early detection plays in improving outcomes for patients with lung disease, particularly lung cancer.

Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer-related death in Australia, with many diagnoses occurring at an advanced stage. However, low-dose CT screening can detect up to 70% of lung cancers before symptoms appear, significantly improving prognosis.

Imaging Associates is proud to be part of the National Lung Cancer Screening Program, offering fully bulk-billed low-dose CT scans for eligible high-risk patients across all our clinics.

Last week, our valued GPs and referrers attended an Education Series dinner on Men’s Health: Prostate Cancer Pathways.

The evening featured presentations from Imaging Associates Radiologist and Body Lead, Dr. Allan Lee, with guest speaker, Urological Surgeon, Mr. George Koufogiannis, who explored the evolving role of PSA trends, multiparametric MRI (mpMRI), and surgical advances in the early detection and management of prostate cancer.
