How do you do a Rapid Antigen Test on a child?

Watch ENTV’s Dr Eric Levi correctly administer a Rapid Antigen Test with the help of his assistant Moana👌🏼

Remember:
Wash hands/blow nose.
Rest little ones head on arm or pillow.
Swab hand can rest on little ones chin or cheek to avoid sudden movement.
Go LOW, Go SLOW!
Gentle twirl, 1-2cm for 10-15 seconds.
Repeat on other side.

Michael Dobson MBBS FRACS

It is with great sadness that Ear Nose and Throat Victoria announces the retirement from active practice of Michael Dobson. "Dobbo" as he is affectionately known by everyone, has been an ENT surgeon for 40 years in the state of Victoria. Many of those years were in solo practice in Shepparton serving the people of northern Victoria. Dobbo was so well loved by his patients that many still travelled to Melbourne to see him when he moved his office to Box Hill. Dobbo has been a valued member of ENT Victoria, much loved by his colleagues and staff. He was extremely valued for his good humour and wise advice.

Over the course of his career, Michael has been an esteemed teacher of generations of ENT surgical trainees. Many worked with him in Shepparton where he showed them the ropes in terms of patient care and running a surgical practice. Michael was heavily involved in teaching and public service by virtue of his positions at both Box Hill and the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital for many years, with particular expertise in the field of Otology (Ear Surgery). Michael continued to innovate throughout his career and was one of the first to embrace IT/computerisation in his practice.

Michael was selfless in his giving of his time to all, particularly in his many trips to East Timor and Vietnam to advance the quality of medical care in these regions. He has been a shining example to us all but above everything else a great friend.

We will all miss Dobbo at ENT Victoria but wish him, Trish and family all the best for a happy fulfilled retirement.
