Don’t give other people the power to make you or break you.

You don’t need anyone’s validation or approval in order to be good enough.

When someone rejects, abandons or judges you, it isn’t actually about you.

It’s about them and their own perceptions, insecurities, limitations, and needs, and when you personalize that you give your power away.

Your worth isn’t contingent upon other people’s acceptance of you — it’s something inherent that you are born with.
You exist, and therefore, you matter.

You’re allowed to voice your unique thoughts and inner most feelings.

You’re allowed to assert your needs and take up space.

You’re allowed to reclaim the lost and diminished parts of you that split off for your survival when you were young.

Next time you find yourself getting caught in the trap of seeking approval from outside of yourself, consider what limiting beliefs are causing you to self abandon to begin with?

Your limiting beliefs were mainly formed between the ages of 1-7 years, in response to your environment, including the meaning your younger self gave to traumatic events like emotional neglect or rejection.

Until you dig deep to reveal the beliefs underneath your approval seeking behaviors, they will continue to subconsciously drive you towards the very thing you fear most which is further rejection, because by self abandoning in the pursuit of acceptance, you’ll continue to be a magnet for further rejection in your external reality too.
