Hello! I hope everyone had a great long weekend here in WA! ❤❤❤
I had the pleasure of doing some of what I love... rock climbing! Below is a snap of the moments before I encountered some real fear... in this type of climbing (trad climbing), your safety gear is not fixed, it is placed manually using gear that you select and fix yourself. Thankfully, those who are more experienced than I placed the gear so all I had to do was inspect it and clip in. But it doesn't mean you've eliminated all risk! So as I attempted to clamber over the top of this roof, it took me several attempts... hovering above the ground by about 15m, the sound of the ocean waves crashing... it got pretty overwhelming!
....so I let it be. I took a breath. I sat back into my harness. I let go of the rope. I trusted...
Energy work has nothing to do with doing at all. It is all about being. Allowing space for what is difficult and challenging. And trusting that it has it's place, but that it will pass.
Disruptions in your energy can bring on these feelings (and visa versa) and keep you tangled in the patterns they may bring. It can make you fixate on the story behind the feeling. "The gear isn't safe" or "the climb is too high"... "I'm not strong enough" or "I'm frozen in fear!"... rather than ruminate on these anxieties and fears, I allowed them to exist. Just like in an energy clearing, they were given the space to be. And just the same as a clearing, those feelings passed. I could see below me how far I had actually climbed, how much I accomplished already. I could see that I still sat there, 15m above the ground, still safely hovering in the air. I could see the next holds to use, and the next clip for safety. I shook out my fatigue and I finished the climb!
In clearing, when fear is balanced, then comes trust. When anxiety is balanced, clarity of the bigger picture may take its place. When you cannot do anymore, you be. This is the beauty of what energy clearing can offer. So, what can energy clearing offer you? xx
