Beata Homecare is an approved home care provider, offering home care services to support the independence of clients from various cultural backgrounds in Melbourne.

We are currently looking for Khmer Speaking Home Care Workers to join our team in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Role:

You will be responsible for delivering quality care to clients in their own homes.

Duties may include:

domestic support (cleaning, meal preparation, laundry
personal care (showering, grooming, dressing)
transport in your own car (to appointments, shopping, activity groups)
shopping assistance
in-home respite
providing companionship.
Weekend shifts and overnight shifts may also be available.

This is a part-time position, 15 - 20 hours per week.

Casual position also available.

Requirements:

Certificate III+ in Individual Support / Aged Care / Disability
Victorian Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle with insurance
Police Check (within 3 months)
First Aid Certificate (within 3 years)
CPR Certificate (within 1 year)
Working with Children Check
2 professional references
You must be able to provide original copies of the above document.

Previous experience as a personal care worker /aged care worker/disability support worker highly desirable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compassionate, dedicated, reliable, willing to learn, able to work autonomously
Must be able to speak Khmer
