As we have already touched on this week there are many ways to move our bodies and stay active.
Exercising doesn’t have to mean attending a gym. With an Exercise Physiologist’s guidance you can exercise safely from the comfort of your own home or even in a hydrotherapy pool. If this doesn’t sound like it suits you, that’s okay. There are many other ways you can exercise in the local community for free! Activities can differ from group exercises classes, to exercising individually. You just have to find the style of exercise that suits you.
Remember moving just 30 minutes a day will reduce your risk of chronic injury, cardiovascular disease or suffering from depression or anxiety.
