We are after a child (like C) to give a free gift to from the Tom Bowen Legacy Trust Fund. We have up to $3000 to spend to help children with a disability buy something they need to help them in their daily life (eg. wheelchair, etc), or even just would like for leisure (eg. iPad, etc). It has to be something that wouldn't be supplied by the NDIS.

I'm in the Bowen Association Committee and I've got the job to find recipients of gifts and we have had nobody apply yet, so if you get Bowen Therapy and have a disability, or even have a child with a disability get in contact with me and I can send you a form to apply!

It's been awesome getting back into the clinic again in 2025!

Liz has done a great job with the sunflowers again and since starting back yesterday the Bowen is already starting to make them smile 😊

The Natural Therapy Expert Advisory Review Panel has completed its investigation into reinstating health fund rebates for complementary therapies.

Their report is due to reach Health and Aged Care Minister Mark Butler by the end of the year.

Bowen Therapy is a uniquely Australian modality that supports health, the economy, and our communities.

We’ve sent Minister Butler a letter highlighting Bowen's impact and the need for health fund rebates to support both practitioners and clients.

I'm closing for Christmas a little earlier this year (last day Monday Dec 9th) because the office will be getting freshly painted, and to allow time for paint odors to clear.

I will be back in clinic Thursday 2nd of Jan 2025, and am looking forward to the new look! 😀

Bowen works through the nervous system, differently from other techniques, and that's why Bowen can often help fix what seemed unfixable 😊

Muscles don't have a mind of their own. The tension they hold is controlled by the brain. They can't just decide "You know what, I'm going to be very tight today and give you your neck pain".
What makes it difficult is that there are a thousand reasons why the brain would make certain muscles tighter than others.
That's why you have to acknowledge and work on other areas apart from where pain is felt in order to give the nervous system more reference points to work with.
The cause of pain is often not where pain is felt.

Just a heads up, I'm taking 1 week off from Wednesday until the following Wednesday and will be back in clinic again Thursday 4th July to rest the fingers and play with my new motorbike 😊.
