The TMJ - a small joint with the biggest punch!

Involved in neck problems, balance, digestion, stress levels (to only name a few) - I’d say doing TMJ work is pretty important!

I've been very chuffed over the last 7 weeks, to have had 2 clients making the drive down from the Dandenongs area (5hr round trip at $2.50 petrol prices!), another 1 from Clayton, 2 people coming from hoppers crossing, 2 coming from St leonards and 1 from Little River!

I also have clients from NSW, and QLD that attend the clinic whenever they are down this way visiting relatives or other health appointments with their preferred specialists.

If you haven't tried the IOS (Importance of Symmetry) assessment lead style of Bowen Therapy, you owe yourself to give it a go! 🙂

The brain can detect problems that even an MRI machine can't, that's why at times medical imaging can't even find the problem in your body that your brain is alerting you to.

Your brain also knows how to fix so many things in your body if it only had the chance, it just needs to be able to get the correct message through to the sick part , which is pretty hard when nerves are irritated and the brains messages are being altered.
..yes Bowen can help with this too... 🙂

Tension isn’t always a strength issue.

Muscles often tighten as part of that response.

This new table has been in full swing now for a couple of weeks...

Easier to get on and off with injuries, and I can now routinely assess your feet throughout your Bowen treatment to make sure we are targeting the right areas.... even for my shorter clients 🙂

Last year I ordered the ultimate Rolls Royce of massage tables, super wide, super comfortable, and an extra long facehole so your feet can always stay over the edge for me to check 🙂

Just waiting for them to finish making it, should be coming in February!

43 years Tom Bowen passed away. I'm sure he would look down and smile to see over 40,000 people practicing his technique.

As every other year some of Tom's personal students have put a tribute in the Geelong Advertiser.

There are still a few appointments available before I head away on holiday, my last day will be the Tuesday after the Grand Final Weekend, and I will return Thursday 2 weeks later. Will be off to do some boating around the Gippsland Lakes District ☺️

We are after a child (like C) to give a free gift to from the Tom Bowen Legacy Trust Fund. We have up to $3000 to spend to help children with a disability buy something they need to help them in their daily life (eg. wheelchair, etc), or even just would like for leisure (eg. iPad, etc). It has to be something that wouldn't be supplied by the NDIS.

I'm in the Bowen Association Committee and I've got the job to find recipients of gifts and we have had nobody apply yet, so if you get Bowen Therapy and have a disability, or even have a child with a disability get in contact with me and I can send you a form to apply!
