Further to the last post (sorry for the typos), just some sites for more information.

Often the question - why don't they just leave comes up. Sometimes being aware of what is happening isn't the case. Hopefully, this information helps.

Kinds of abuse that don't leave physical scars like emotional and psychological can be more difficult to understand. They usually come with gaslighting. Harder to prove but the impact is still there and difficult to shake.
