Hello all,

This will be my last post as Carver Chiropractic ever.

Dr’s Simon and Ann Strawhorn have taken over the clinic and renamed it Scope Health Chiropractic. I wish them the very best of success.

Tomorrow will be an exciting day for me as I commence work at Smart Health. In addition to my chiropractic, after two and half years of study, I am looking forward to teaching Pilates equipment classes.

It is with sadness and some excitement for my future endeavours that I write this post……..

I would like to inform you that there will be a change of ownership of the clinic.

After much consideration, taking into account my health issues over the last two years, I have made the decision to sell the clinic.
This has been a very difficult decision as I enjoy the relationship I have with you and being the provider of your chiropractic care.
Ann and Simon Strawhorn will be taking over your care. They are both experienced Chiropractors who have been working in Strathalbyn and Unley respectively.
Ann has further education in nutrition and Simon has a strong background in Sports Chiropractic.
They treat acute and chronic conditions and provide ongoing preventative care.
Ann and Simon are caring practitioners who have said they are excited about taking over the clinic and hope you will give them the opportunity to build their own ongoing relationships with you and your families.
I plan on having a break once I finish practicing at Bridgewater to enjoy some time with my family.
After this time I will be commencing small group Clinical Pilates equipment classes, in addition to reduced chiropractic clinical hours, at a location in Keswick in the city.
My final day will be on Thursday 6th April 2022.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for entrusting me with your chiropractic care over the last 20 years.
I have built wonderful relationships with many of you over those years and saying goodbye to you will be difficult.

🥳🥳🥳Happy 2021!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continuing support and patience through all the many changes we have experienced through 2020.

On a personal level I have had a challenging last few months of 2020 with different health issues. This has given me time to reflect on and prioritise my own health goals.

I would like to thank you for your patience as Bess has had to reschedule or cancel appointments due to my illness.

These health issues are mostly resolved and I am hoping for little interruption to our clinic hours when we re-open. Please be aware if any changes need to be made you will hear from us.

We are returning to the clinic on Monday 18th January. I look forward to continuing your care into 2021.

The important lessons I was reminded of in 2020 is to:

Look after your yourself as your health is a precious gift

Treasure and appreciate those that you love

Be kind to each other and work together as we are stronger when we do!

Thank you again for your understanding through 2020.

Good evening!

Keeping in line with SA Health guidelines we will require that you wear a mask when attending our clinic. They have made wearing a mask in all health settings, including allied health, mandatory.

I have and will continue wearing a mask while treating you.

This is to assist in looking after all of us and to once again eradicate community transmission of Covid from SA.

Good Morning,

In line with the current government mandate chiropractic services have been shut down from Midnight last night for a period of 6 days. Therefore the clinic is closed during this time.

If you have a future appointment with us from next Wednesday November 25th onwards, please assume that is still OK unless we let you know otherwise.

Hello everyone,

You may have experienced some disruptions with your appointments lately. I have spent most of last week in hospital, hence the need to cancel your appointments.

Over the next couple of weeks I will need to take more time off for further tests. I ask for your patience and consideration with these disruptions. Please understand Bess is doing her best to prioritise your care and any changes to your appointments are directed by me.

My health issues should be resolved over the next couple of weeks and we can get back to normal.

2020 has certainly had its challenges for many of us! I am grateful for the kindness, consideration and love that my family has experienced through difficult times.

Hello everyone,

As a community we have done a great job of significantly reducing the spread of coronavirus.

As we slowly reopen more services are becoming available to us.

Massage therapists have reopened to the delight of many people, including myself (Thank you Kerry from Adelaide Hills Remedial Massage🤩🤩🤩)

We are looking for a massage therapist to join our team here at Carver Chiropractic.
This is a wonderful opportunity to build your business as we have a strong referral base.
Chiropractic and massage therapy compliment each other and many of our patients take advantage of the benefits that the two therapies bring.
That is why we are looking for an experienced massage therapist to join our team.
As a result of recent events I have reduced the room rent to $110/week inclusive of GST and outgoings, which will be subject to review at a later date.

Hello Everyone,

In keeping with the Australian Government Department of Health recommendations allied health professionals, including Chiropractors, have been asked to remain OPEN, so that we can continue to support the needs of our patients, and reduce any future stress on GP and emergency services at this time.

Please know that if we need to shutdown you will hear from Bess informing you of these changes.
Therefore if you haven’t heard from us we are still open.

It is exciting news to hear our infection rates have fallen for the second day in SA. It is nice to have some positivity.
