Are there any strong males out there who would like to volunteer a couple of hours on Saturday mornings at our Trash nTreasure? As our community knows we can't operate without local support. If this is you, please call in to our top shop and speak to Eileen or Peter. Free bickies and tea included!
On another matter, we have received quite a few bags of unsellable items lately. Please be mindful what is donated. Soiled and damaged clothes as pictured are clearly not suitable.

Sadly for us, earlier this morning someone dumped dirty, old and unsaleable mattress and base. We are hoping that the dumpee/s were unaware that we can only resell better items - we simply do not have the human, financial or storage solutions to cope otherwise. To take this to the tip would cost us about $75 - that's taking $75 from local service organisations and Alpine Health! BUT! the good news is that thanks to the Bright RSL's generous donation of security camera system plus installation , we have a super clear video of the dumper (and her family member), vehicle and number plate. Dumping of rubbish is illegal even on private land.....in the spirit of the New Year, we hope it will be quietly removed over the weekend, no questions asked....before we get cross.

We have a high low bed for sale which has adjustable height .This bed goes to the floor, and also raises the top half to a sitting position. Could also be used for a sturdy workbench !! Our price $100. Please see video. This is available at our Shop 26 Ireland St.

A huge shout-out and thank you to Bright RSL Sub Branch for the fabulous donation of their old but excellent security cameras. Not only a gift to us, but president Phil and member Martin spent hours installing the system for us. And we had a triumph on the first evening - spotting a secret dumper!!

OP SHOP FASHIONS ON THE FIELD // We are bringing back a nutty Nut Fest tradition in 2024 with the op shop fashion parade.

Come along to the side stage at 3pm on Saturday to enter in the fashions on the field in your op shop finest. It'll be $10 to enter with all the money going to to raise awareness about mental health and su***de. There'll be awesome prizes and the event is judged by some local legends, including Jane Foley

We'll have racks of clothes to choose from on the day itself, but you might also want to drop into one of the Bright Hospital Op Shops this week (or your local) to get your outfits sorted in advance!!

We can't wait to see how everyone looks! And what a great opportunity to have a walk and talk about mental health on the red carpet cat walk!

We know some people that love a good opportunity to dress up... so come on and comment below if you are in!!
