pasta isn’t just pasta 🍝👇

depending on the type you choose, it can support very different goals — from gut health and plant diversity, to iron intake, protein, blood sugar balance and even post-workout recovery.

i’ve broken down the main types so you can choose based on what your body needs!

✨ white pasta → pre-workout, quick energy
✨ wholemeal pasta → budget option
✨ spelt pasta → flavour + fibre
✨ lentil pasta → iron + plant protein
✨ pulse pasta → gut health and blood sugar support
✨ edamame pasta → highest protein
✨ protein pasta → post-workout recovery
✨ konjac pasta → very low calorie option

High protein pumpkin soup that actually keeps you full!

my secret ingredient? lentils ✨
they blend straight in, you honestly won’t taste them, but they add extra protein + fibre to make this soup way more satisfying and balanced.

also my cook blend pro deserves a moment because it makes soups SO silky smooth and handles hot ingredients so well! This will be one of my most used kitchen appliances in winter!

YOUR CEREAL GUIDE 🥣

Some cereals work best as an everyday base, while others are more of an occasional option depending on their ingredients and how they’re made.

As a general guide:
✔️ Higher fibre, lower sugar options support steadier energy and better fullness
✔️ Wholegrain cereals are a stronger foundation for everyday breakfast
✔️ Flavoured cereals can still fit, but work best when balanced properly.

Think of cereal less as “good or bad” and more about how often you have it and how you build the meal around it.

A simple upgrade looks like:
👉 cereal + milk or yoghurt for protein
👉 add fruit for fibre and micronutrients
👉 add nuts or seeds for healthy fats

Save this for your next cereal shop 🥣

These mini lasagnas have quickly become my new obsession anytime we have leftover bolognese sauce!

They take 10 minutes, use simple ingredients, and are perfect for meal prep, work lunches or feeding the kids!

Just layer bolognese + a quick ricotta mix into taco shells, bake in the oven, and you’re done ✔️

Save this for the next time you’ve got leftover bolognese 🍝

YOUR YOGHURT GUIDE 🥣

i’ve ranked 11 of my fave yoghurts — comparing protein, calcium, ingredients, and texture. these are my picks based on what I look for, but your “best” yoghurt might be completely different depending on your needs, budget, allergies, or just what tastes good to you!

If your fave didn’t make the list (or if you disagree with my take!), let me know in the comments I love hearing your thoughts!

At the end of the day, the best yoghurt is just the one that works for your body, your goals, and your budget!

The Immunity shots getting me through winter 🍊

All you need:2 oranges, 1 lemon, a big k**b of ginger + fresh turmeric

This combo = vitamin C + anti-inflammatory goodness from the ginger & turmeric 🤍

I store them in the fridge and have a small shot in the morning!

Pro tip: add a crack of black pepper — it helps absorb the benefits of turmeric 👌🏼
